    People are complaining about the price. This board is hand made with the finest of the finest parts, engineer etc. This is obviously not for the whimp, or like someone said in the comments section, not for someone with a low paying job. Unless of course you live with your parents have no utility bills and can save up for this type of board. I just got into longboarding, and I really don't see this board buying thaaaat expensive (just a little). With that being said if you enjoy longboarding and can afford it without putting yourself in debt, go for it you live once. Don't be cheap, and pamper yourself. Peace to all my brothers and sisters.

      It’s incredibly impractical for a company like this to make Lamborghini boards. The price has to be ridiculous or else no more Landyachtz end of story. Metal products that are milled from a single piece are functionally the best thing out there, just too costly to justify for everything, so you get cheap stamped metal for a lot of stuff out there like car doors and piping. Same thing with wood, so when you have crazy designs that can’t handle plys of maple, you have to mill out a block, fill it so it’s not so stiff, and then reshape it. I say ride a regular board

    The price seems fair for the amount of R&D, cost of materials, cost of employees, in order to get an ROI. I am just getting into this sport, but before, I was a CAT 2 MTB downhill racer. My bikes with my sponsor discounts still set me back over 4k. This aint shiz compared to the cycling community. For instance, just check the price for a pair of downhill Envy carbon wheels.

    • @KandiKlover
      @KandiKlover 3 роки тому +1

      Yeah $1000 is actually really cheap. That’s like the bottom end of decent road bikes that will last. Same for cross country mtb. DH and enduro bikes don’t count since those are too niche.

    Bro, I saw a 500 dollar pricing for just the deck. That has to be a kind of board that's either indestructible or has board insurance, can go off-road, and for good measure, that deck can make a decent surfboard
    Edit: In all seriousness, I understand the work and materials that went in to justify this price. Just not in my budget at the moment

    imo this could be a lot cheaper it it were wooden. to get that w shape I think some bumbs could be easily added to the middle of the board. maybe this wont get done because it would detracts sales from this board but for normal people who dont have that kind of money, I think it would be a good solution. not as lightweight but still.

    The Osteon's tight. Just a bit weak. Cracks easily... Cracked it my first day, tried doing a no comply impossible, (Just dicking around), and the nose hit the ground and it took a solid inch of wood out, (along the length of the board), and went down about 3 plies.

      Tanner Johnson true. Although, my friend Patrick Eddings was with me, riding his proto remember board (and all protos are pretty jank), and has yet to crack his even after it was sent into a curb. I did expect the board to crack but not to the extent it did.
