and that's why captains hate transporting flour because it's more dangerous to transport than any liquid (if we talk about common wares that get transported by large container ships)
I remember in school we were introduced to the concept of memory alloys. We were given these straight wire objects (presumably made of nitinol) and were told to bend them. We then put them in hot water and they quickly sprung back into being straight again. It was cool.
With the truth with the flour, what works even better than flour is non-dairy coffee creamer. You don't need a strainer and if you pour it over a candle flame, it will chain up the stream of creamer, creating big fire balls.
B B A - Guessed them all correctly 1:25 btw I think it is because the ink creates a smooth, thin laminar flow which doesn't allow air to mix with it for a while so the gas can't catch fire. And it does look really cool
I think the second one in the first round would have been more effective if it were presented in the opposite way as a "truth". Since hotter pan = faster evaporation seems like the more obvious answer (at least to me), I just assumed it was actually false
I've loved this series since I first watched and love the engineered series too. It's great learning new things from your videos, and I'm surprised you were able to show this many cool science tricks! Your break is well earned!
Love it!!! I think you should be paid a good amount showing school kids these amazing things you do. You can inspire kids all over the world your special mind of what you can teach because you ha have a wonderful but special gift
Once again, I didn't let my boy Senku down; clean sweep victory! This was a pretty good batch, but didn't you already use the absorbent material fake in a previous video? You actually don't even need warm water to make it boil like that... sure, it becomes easier with higher temperatures, but it's not necessary for the trick. Watching shape-memory metals Ctrl+Z themselves will never not be trippy! That's the thing with these types of series; you can only do so many simple demonstrations before running out of content or getting to where the setup isn't worth the effort... I'm honestly surprised you've held out this long. Take the time you need, and don't fall for the trap of focusing on the channel's success over your own enjoyment! I like the other videos you do, too, so I see whichever decision you make as a win-win for me!
The comment about nitinol gave away the first one as being real. Back in middle school, about ten years ago, I had a classmate who made a presentation on nitinol for one of our electives. That same guy made a game for us to play in the computer lab when we finished homework, although I don't remember what the game was called. I think it was BlockTanks or something.
You got me with the lighter experiment, looks quite implausible until you explained how it works. I also suspected simple slight of hand with that foam disk at the end, nice trick with the embedded eccentric weights to pull it up the ramp.
When you reveal the trash:- you used to say that i added xyz instead of abc "when you weren't looking". Idk why but I loved this phrase from you. Can you bring it back?😢 Edit:- I went 1/3, these were tricky I could only do the 2nd one correct
and that's why captains hate transporting flour because it's more dangerous to transport than any liquid (if we talk about common wares that get transported by large container ships)
*Love This Channel! These kinds of videos should be everywhere on UA-cam and not just some nonsense and misinformation*

You almost had me with the first one until you tried to fool me with the leidefrost effect.

I have a good record, proly 90% not to brag, but that lighter floating flame with the pen ink was a mind phuk
Oh damn I had no clue that S3 was only just ending. It feels like they've been going on for like 10 seasons by now.
I have covered myself in oil, much to the dismay of the authorities, and now I am floating in the sky in a particularly rainy day

Thanks for appreciating me 😃
You rock.
This was the only one where I got fooled by all three. Well played!
Woo 3 for 3. May have guessed the lighter if I haven't seen it done before 😉
You got me with the lighter experiment, looks quite implausible until you explained how it works. I also suspected simple slight of hand with that foam disk at the end, nice trick with the embedded eccentric weights to pull it up the ramp.
I loved the series, all your videos are great.
_Imma see if I can buy your awesome card game before it sold out_
I love all the content you make. I'd love more 2T1T but if stopping it means more Engineering Bets, I'm still a happy camper
the mini pan will help you season your hands.
I'm not gullible, but I trust you 😂
I'll watch it when I return home
I got them all correct

When you reveal the trash:- you used to say that i added xyz instead of abc "when you weren't looking". Idk why but I loved this phrase from you. Can you bring it back?😢

This should be a test to qualify you to vote, if you've ever gotten one of these wrong, you should be barred from polling places.
