Honestly, it’s the way I remember camping as a kid. We had no amenities really. Maybe a pool but in Maine we had lakes. Play grounds with metal slides and metal swings. I like those campgrounds. They tend to bring families and not alcoholics 😂 who party all night. Not adults who can enjoy a beer and conversation around a campfire 👍🏼
Hi Izzy & MJ! Great review! That is a campground we would love, small, quiet and quaint! We were in Vermont in 2017 and stayed at Camping on the Battenkill in Arlington and we loved it! Another smaller quiet campground. I'm so glad you added the attitude of the staff because that is a huge deal breaker and we have been to a few where it wasnt so friendly, so thank you for adding that! Safe travels!

I remember as a kid Going out with my buddies having our parents drop us off about 10 miles out and spending the day hiking home, Camping down by the Creek. So it's good to see the kids out playing instead of staring at their phone Or setting in front of a TV all day. I guess we're all getting a little old LOL Seems like a nice campground, And Reasonable priced really enjoyed the video thanks!!!
I would definitely camp here. It looks beautiful and gorgeous there Izzy and MJ! Love the swings. The amenities seem great! Not a bad price to stay there. Looks all good for me. Great video, MJ and Izzy! Vermont is a very beautiful state and that campground looks like camping the way it used to be and should be. The last time I was in Vermont (many years ago) was in winter, skiing at Killington, one of my favorite ski areas. Safe travels.
Haha unless you work in the operating room at Rutland Regional haha. That is the busy time of year. However Dr Lightheart there is the BEST orth doc EVER!!!!!!! That man is amazing with people's bones, I swear he can look at a bone and know exactly what and how to fix it.
Looks great and hope we can stay there one day. We are in our late 60s and love to watch kids having a good time. Also in October we are staying at the HH Bakery y’all stayed at in TN. I should say “hope too.” Can’t make reservations this far out only 90 days.
Looks so beautiful thanks for sharing. I have to pay attention to state laws about having guns. I have several guns and I have never had to use them as of yet. I will not go into any state that will not allow me to carry my gun. I'm 67 years old not a spring buck so I'm not going to fight off someone. I just know there are a couple states on the west coast and a couple on the East coast . I don't know about Vermont I will be going out that way in about 2 to 3 months. Sure does look like a nice place to visit. As always thanks for your time and sharing your video with me !

I would say it's a lot like where you were for the 4th. 11 minute drive to Manchester, unfortunately a lot of stores have closed due to Covid. Keep the videos coming guys we love your content!!
Can u get to Vermont without driving on the jersey turnpike, we're from south jersey and we stopped going north to camp because of the horrible driving experience up north and traffic. Anyway that campground looks great, maybe when I retire we could go north .

We love the Mom & Pop kind of campgrounds the best. I can't tell you the last time we stayed at a KOA. It's been least 20 years.
