Add the Wilson Combat grip module and you’ll never look back. Night and day difference between it and the stock Sig grip. Especially with the tungsten weight kit. And can’t forget Magguts +2 kits for the most compact 14+1 on the market 👌🏼
@@DavidJStynchcombe you'll want the XL Wilson Combat grip module, it'll fit the slide of the P365x. You can also install yourself very easily. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Minute of angle, I have the same pistol, same Holosun 507k green, with Magguts +2 and a hogue grip. I still need to shoot it more To get more proficient I’m coming from a G48 Which I still carry at times
Very informative, Bill. Just got a P365x a couple of weeks ago with a factory-installed RomeoZero red dot but I've heard such good things about Holosun that I'm going to replace it. I've been a Glock guy for years but I've always had a tendency to be down and to the left (maybe it was the double-stacks, maybe it was a trigger issue...not sure....) and I still love Glocks, but this P365 with the straight trigger seems to be a game changer for me. Glad to have come across this video.
So I had the same issue in my early days. What you are doing is shooting with the tip of your finger and or anticipating your shot too much. It is not the gun. It is you.
@@benjammintaylor1947 That makes total sense. Yep, I pulled out my Glock 36 earlier and gripped it with my finger in the trigger guard just to see what my natural tendency was in terms of grip. I'm definitely using the tip of my finger. Can't blame the equipment, it's been the operator (me) the entire time. Great point!
So..., I'll preface by saying I have used red dots on rifles but never on a handgun... so plz forgive my ignorance lol. *QUESTION:* When you add/use an optic on a pistol, are you aiming by lining the dot up with the front iron sight? Or do you try your best to ignore the front sight and place the dot slightly above the sight post? Thanks!
I prefer to use the term MOP to describe my shooting. Minute of Pizza. I'm shooting 3 MOP currently. Maybe I need to try the dot sight and give it a chance.
minute-of-angle is 1/60th of a degree. The easy to way to remember how much a minute is by memorizing the quantity in radians, 0.0002908882086657216, then using mental math to convert that to degrees
Its not that big of a deal to remove the slide also the owner should know and feel comfortable disassembling the weapon for cleaning and having an idea of how its roughly put together.
MOA ...1 MOA is 1.047 inches at 100 yards. Most use 1.05...that .05 can add up at several clicks of MOA. Minute of Angle. The 507k has a 2 MOA Dot and 32 MOA Circle.
I have a P365 and P365XL. I'm tempted to get an X. The mags would go to the XL and swap out the grip module for a standard P365 Wilson Combat grip module.
@@lessforloans Since I posted that message, I bought a P365X to play around with. I replaced the grip with a standard P365 grip module and added the same optic I have on my P365XL. So now I have what amounts to a standard P365 with an optic and straight trigger. Sweet shooters, all three.
I have the same set up along with a streamlight TLR-7 SUB low profile tactical light for my xl. Also seriously considering adding the Wilson Combat grip module and Magguts+ 2 Kits!
Does having a green dot and a green front sight throw you off at all since they are the same color? I want tue green but was thinking of buying the red reticle that way it stood out from the front sight.
So I don’t have a green front sight it’s white, I always notice the green dot in the optic first and lock in on it. No confusion of what I’m looking at. Thanks for your questions!
Oay I am. Running a Romeo Zero. Does anyone else have major issues with lint getting in it bad? Is this exclusive to the Romeo Zero? I have to clean my lens like twice a day.
1) Your edc is too close to your belly button. :) all seriousness aside try applying an anti static spray used for eyeglasses ( or a dryer sheet). It should repel rather than attract lint. Hope this helps.
@@slickwilly116 very nice, this gun is amazingly accurate with just sights, I shot it better than my G43 at the range this gun is probably very dangerous with a dot on it.
These are not suppressor height sights. You don’t want to co-witness with them. Keep the dot separate from these sights. Zero it at 15 or 25 using the dead center of the viewing area. If your battery dies or some other problem with the dot, you’ll have backup sights. Also the Holosun should come pre zeroed to 25 yards
MOA is MINUTE of angle, not measurement of angle. Don't do videos if you don't know what you're talking about. Do your research and reference checks beforehand.
