I had same problem and used Flex Seal on the channels on my 99 F350.

I just found the same issue in my ‘02 Expedition. Hadn’t driven it in years and found the roof had rusted through underneath the roof rails so I had that fixed and the whole truck repainted 3 months ago. Yesterday I noticed water was creeping in but staying on the roof inside the car like condensation, just tons of water droplets waiting to fall onto the roof liner. Looked around and found both of the side channels were splitting and lifting, so figured that was the issue and used silicone to seal. This video confirmed my suspicion, hopefully this is it.

Make sure you remove the entire old harness. The new pressure switch is designed to work with the short cable only. Connecting to the old harness is asking for trouble down the road.

Does the 507 co sight with the sig front iron sight?

Caution battery runs dead unless flipped or taken out. Does not have power off setting

Strike eagle 5-25x56 battery goes in opposite of what video says. It goes in positive out. Cap comes off using a quarter coin. Tag out

Picked mine up at a pawn shop and I’ve literally been putting off changing the battery because I thought the housing was on the bottom. I’m really glad I saw this before I completely unzeroed everything! Thank you

The roof ditch has seam seal in it. You can remove with a scrapers and replace it. 3m makes a self leveling seam sealer that works great. It won’t match since it isn’t painted but you could always use a brush and paint it with a color that close. Pretty hard to see from the ground anyways.

That’s a nice setup what holster so you use.

While ago... I am a retired carman from AMTRAK.... Was assigned to repair some leaking seems on a passenger car. I used liquid sandpaper to avoid dust in the car. I applied butyle rubber caulk (from a cartridge). Smoothed it out... and repainted to match. I never had any complaints... That was 20 years ago....

So..., I'll preface by saying I have used red dots on rifles but never on a handgun... so plz forgive my ignorance lol. *QUESTION:* When you add/use an optic on a pistol, are you aiming by lining the dot up with the front iron sight? Or do you try your best to ignore the front sight and place the dot slightly above the sight post? Thanks!

minute-of-angle is 1/60th of a degree. The easy to way to remember how much a minute is by memorizing the quantity in radians, 0.0002908882086657216, then using mental math to convert that to degrees

Ford had a recall on the cruise control sensor on all those styles. It was shorting out and starting truck fires 🔥 for year's...if you've got the old style change it immediately.. it leaks through the sensor and covers the electrical plug

I have the same set up along with a streamlight TLR-7 SUB low profile tactical light for my xl. Also seriously considering adding the Wilson Combat grip module and Magguts+ 2 Kits!

Ford has a safety recall for this. Could of had it replaced for free. My 2003 Ranger had the same problem.

Does having a green dot and a green front sight throw you off at all since they are the same color? I want tue green but was thinking of buying the red reticle that way it stood out from the front sight.

Its not that big of a deal to remove the slide also the owner should know and feel comfortable disassembling the weapon for cleaning and having an idea of how its roughly put together.

Oay I am. Running a Romeo Zero. Does anyone else have major issues with lint getting in it bad? Is this exclusive to the Romeo Zero? I have to clean my lens like twice a day.

Add the Wilson Combat grip module and you’ll never look back. Night and day difference between it and the stock Sig grip. Especially with the tungsten weight kit. And can’t forget Magguts +2 kits for the most compact 14+1 on the market 👌🏼

Same issue on 2006. Front end of roof also rusted out where it was folded or pressed into shape at the factory.

MOA ...1 MOA is 1.047 inches at 100 yards. Most use 1.05...that .05 can add up at several clicks of MOA. Minute of Angle. The 507k has a 2 MOA Dot and 32 MOA Circle.
