The Breeders' Pod has one member from Slint. The next album is really straight slacker rock, but Pod is more subdued. If Pixies were given the Slint treatment.

if you liked 21st Century Schizoid Man you would probably prefer Red anyways, the rest of ITCOTCK is much less hard-edged and more whimsical/artsy in the prog-rock sense
