I believe he has perfect pitch and most importantly, a keen sense of tones/notes/music. Also having a father who trained pro athlete at Olympic level doesn't hurt haha Anton's skills is a combination of talent and science.
@Agnes135 im sorry, but this is not mindless shredding, he knows what he's playing and is playing some of the most difficult pieces in the world and you CANT play this. this is classical music, it just sounds weird because of the distortion, but you can hear he can play just as good on a clean channel

@devax1986 He has a variety of stuff on youtube. He's probably mostly shredder at this point, but he does have some Chet Atkins stuff and some blues rock mixed in. He just needs a bit more experience with musicality.
This kid is good, but every video all I hear is the same repetitive stuff over and over. It's either Paul Gilbert licks, or it's some classical piece that he has already played before. I hope he will be able to come up with his own unique style and music.
@arnihl this little dude doesn't have his own style..he mastered the art of sweep picking and string skipping...so what? he is a shredder, a good one, but to be anywhere near jason becker you need a hell lot more than mastering a few techniques. but, yes, he's got 5 years to his 19th birthday...but I think most people would go with jason cause he wrote concerto, speed metal symphony and serrana when he was 17-18-ish so..
if we are not taken, 4 examp: the Great History of Russia, Space searching, Weapon industry, Science, Literature ..... but ONLY music, can you tell me - what other country has more then: Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Shostakovich, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Richter, Glinka, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Schubert .... heard those names? .... i can go on ... 4 examp. George Gershwin - is son of immigrants from Russia.

Very technical. Problem is that he hasn't learned how to get outside his classical roots. He needs to try different modes in his playing, but there is a signature to everyone eh? He is a Malmsteen type of player and there isn't anything wrong with that, I guess to me it can get old.
