I don't usually comment on many things.....however, I am being moved and guided to say that your baby girl was put on this earth to bring smiles to everyone. I don’t know, the movie, Ten Commandments comes to mind when Moses came down from the mountain to find the Israelites had made a golden image to be their “god” instead of the living God who had delivered them from Egypt! Moses gave them a choice, follow God or the image…those who followed the image were destroyed 🥲
All the floors are absolutely stunning! It's like opening a brown paper package to find jewels inside. What a lovely town/village you have found as well. The Lord absolutely lead you there. A home in town, fruitful land around and stunning views of the sea. You all appear to be thriving and Luce is such a happy, well adjusted and precious toddler. Her development will be amazing this year. It's obvious that everyone loves her. Take care and May God bless you always.

Yes, Sara!! I 100% agree! Definitely get rid of those nasty bathroom fixtures and purchase fresh new ones. Luca, I’m all for repurpose and reuse, however there are some things that just need to be new and brand new bathroom fixtures are a must.

What a transformation you have done already! Nice to see an American saying nice things about the Italian people. I have been watching since C-19, you two have gotten my husband & I through that. Two years ago we made plans to go to Italy, for our 58th anniversary, but got the virus. In a few days we will be celebrating our 60th, but doubt if we will ever see your beautiful country. I think a green sofa would be gorgeous with yellow and red accent pillows. 👍🏻💕🇺🇸
That was a somewhat snarky remark about Americans saying something nice about Italians. Never read anything negative coming from any American speaking bad about Italians. To bad you won’t make it to Italy it is beautiful and the people are wonderful.
I love your tile rugs, they’re beautiful Sara, I believe a light charcoal gray would be handsome with red and yellow pillows to accent all; if you chose green, you’d get tired of it, green and red pillows you could use at Christmas time to change it up for a while, spring time, bring out the yellow pillows again, the gray would wear better also and would enhance other throws in any color too. It’s my choice, have fun finding your favorite. Now a red rug would be beautiful in your living area. I believe a green rug with green accents on your bedding would pull the two rooms together when the doors are open from the living room to the bedroom and the red rug in the living room would pull the living room and kitchen together, enchanting and it would flow with color ❤🎉. Congratulations on what you have done. For the bathroom I’d use a dark gray for the bath towels, they will really stand out on the beautiful tiled walls ❤. The kitchen, use Red Poppy flowers or Red, yellow and orange Zinnias flowers on your kitchen towels ❤. Spicy Italian girl 😂!

It's looking wonderful, the floors are stunning. For the sofa I would go with a mustard colour to pick up on the colour in the floor tiles, but red or green would look wonderful too. Luce is growing so fast! And more beautiful every day x

I can't believe how fate guided you to a town where the patron saint is Saint Luca and Saint Rocco is the patron saint of miracles. Luca's recovery and good health is truly a miracle and Saint Luca will be Luca and the entire family's patron saint. I loved the festival and although I have never been to Sicily I felt such a deep connection and emotional feeling for the experience. You can get glue removal stuff from vinyl flooring, Those tiles underneath are beautiful in the kitchen in fact in the whole house it is beautiful I would keep them all. I love the muted plums and greys of the floor - reminds me of the lovely old colours that look like Christmas. Old dark wood looks good with that colour scheme. Maybe a table? A lovely discovery and fun for you all and the beauty of old houses. The CBS man would be amazed if he had seen your house that the euro homes are fantastic.
I’d go with red myself. It would really pop in that room. Those are amazing floors. If those kitchen tiles are in good shape just a good cleaning and some sealant might do it. This house is a small treasure in disguise. Congratulations!

We live in New Zealand. My husband is a builder and just turned 60. We would so love to do what you are doing!!! What an adventure and your place is beautiful and the village just wonderful and lively...well this week anyway!!! 😂 Loved your video....who knows maybe one day we will get a change to find our village❤
The terrazzo floors are beautiful, probably installed in the late 1940's or 1950's. And the floor in the kitchen with its checkerboard coloring perfectly complements the wall tile. With the dark red in both floors a red sofa would be lovely. However, with strong sunlight it will fade really quickly so a warm golden yellow sofa might be a better choice, and then use dark red accents in pillows and other furniture.
As much as we enjoy watching your progress and adventures, we can't get enough of Luce!! She is absolutely the most adorable little girl!!

Toilet and bidet are relatively cheap to replace to have something new and clean. Those floors are exquisite! I love the red and greens together and have a lot of those colors in my house. What a wonderful transformation and many kudos to your plaster men! Wow!
Loving everything about you finding & restoring this charming, ancient place. I do wish Luca had worn a dust mask when ripping out that old flooring. Mildew, etc (?) can exist in between layers of old flooring like that. You don’t need ancient mildew getting into your sinuses & lungs.
The old flooring you washed is extraordinary!
The pattern is so unusual! How old it it? Is it a pattern made of stone tile pieces? Can you find a historian to tell you the age of this flooring?
I’d wash the toilet & bidet before ripping it out. It has an elegant style quality, like maybe from the 20s or 30s, but could be older.
I’m so happy for you in all you’ve accomplished since I began watching you a couple years ago.

Now that you see the kitchen floor, I suggest a sofa in the golden yellow. Red would be too strong. You can easily draw the other colors in to accent.

Hi little family, your house is almost transformed already! Well done. If it was mine I would definitely renew the whole bathroom. Its not usually too expensive but you won't have to do it again for 30 years! Why keep old unsanitary fittings? They are not archaeological 😃

I love the floors. The kitchen will be so cheerful. I vote for red sofa. I know what you’re going through with your renovation. We bought a 1200 year old tower in a town called Minturno in Italy on the Mediterranean. 2 hours north of Naples. Same types of tiled floors and some of electricity on outside of walls. We’re from America. It’s all worth it. You are doing a loving and respectful Reno. Your daughter is precious.

The house is coming along so nicely!! I vote for a yellow sofa. The yellow floor accents will pop more with a yellow sofa since there is less yellow in the floor than the red and green. The yellow accents are so sweet and sunny and could get lost with a red or green sofa. I can’t wait to see the whole finished home. 🥰

Hello beautiful floors !! The home is coming along so amazing 🤩 In regards to the sofa, my thoughts were a grey/white sofa with the pillows of the colors in the floor. Actually, if buying second hand whichever you find in good condition and price will work just as nice as long as your all sitting on it ❤

Sara and Luca. I would look at a sage green. You would be marring the old tiles with a new trend colour. Sage green has been trending as a colour of choice for our summer. If you are restoring second hand furniture a emerald green lounge suit would look amazing. You could decorate the couch with vintage plants for the colour. You have made my creative juices flowing. I could do a mood board for you so you could see what I mean. Sara ask your builder what you could use on the vintage tiles to remove the glue from the linoleum .

The house and the floors are really beautiful! Once the glue and everything is removed from the kitchen floor, it will be gorgeous! The walls look wonderful now and it just all getting done!
