I always start conversation with strangers all the time when I'm traveling... It's always start by asking them about the place where I am going. As I've never been there before so I have to ask someone in train like for example
Surely, I have. There were many situations I was starting a conversation with other English speakers.
In fact, when I see a native speaker, I won’t let them go 😄😂 I keep talking to them and always have been good conversations ever 😎😋
@@hinangtv7145 ahhh great! Asking for recommendations is a great way to start a conversation!
@@davesmith6436 What do you recommend as the most effective way to start a conversation?
I live in Australia too. Your lessons are very useful when dealing with the Australian accent and day-to-day conversations. Thank You EMMA.
I'm so glad to hear that!
I wish, i could live in Australia. 😊
Mee to
I'm working as uber driver over than two years and a half in Sydney and my job is helping me a lot to improve my English language because I speak to my passengers and they ask me similar questions as you asked in your video.😀😀😀
That's so awesome to hear! You must meet so many different people and have lots of (interesting?!!) conversations!
Who's here only for Jake from Enhypen,Rose from Blackpink,Felix and Bangcan from Stray kids??🙂💚✨

My best teacher . I can remember new word little by little without difficulty.🌸
Brilliant!
Hi Emma! You have always good ideas like this one. Starting a converstaion is not always easy above all here in Switzerland, were people are more closed up than Australians, preferring their comfort zone than risking to face strangers. It's also different related with the German speaking part, the French, or the Italian one, which is by far the minority. We also start by greetings and after frequently chatting about the weather which is not very original. After we often speak about news or games like soccer or hockey. Frequently we also groan about the always sticking traffic. Peoples problems are all about the same in the entire world. Thank you Emma!
Thank you so much. Love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰❤️
Great
Ma'am you are the best teacher ever☺☺
Hey Emma, cutest ma'am! I was just waiting for your lesson today!
As you know, I'm gaining more and more confidence, fluency watching your videos for almost every day. For this reason, I'm not feeling bad at speaking English whether it's a usual small talking or some kind of conversation between the colleagues, coworkers. That doesn't feel like a tough task for me anymore! I do appreciate all of my communicative skills!
Thanks a lot to you! A lot of kisses!
This makes me SO happy! It's exactly why I make these videos :D
Hi
I love your lessons just because you are more concentrated on contexts and elaborating the content very well
Hi,I love Australia,I've been there 8 years ago,5 days in Sidney and 10 days in Melbourne.
It sounds like you are due for your next trip!
As always your lessons are enjoyable, with your nice smile movements mimics and of course perfect explanations with examples... I really enjoy watching your videos and of course I have improved my English speech a lot through it...thanks you Emma for your effort and time...
😘You are the best teacher, students could ever hope for! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! For the rest of my life, I'll be extremely thankful for having a brilliant teacher like you. The lessons you have taught will be remembered forever while your inspiration will always give me the strength to succeed. 💝💝💖❤️❤️
Shakshi, thank you for your kindness. I appreciate your comment - it makes me so happy to hear my lessons are helping you.
Agreed!
If I had the chance, I'd go to Australia. Thanks for the informative lesson, Emma.😊♥️
You should!
Oh! It's amazing. So I need to practice it. Thanks.
Awesome lesson as always Emma, thanks for the master piece :)
🙏
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to visit Australia, but I love this country. Maybe it is your lessons that influenced me.
Mam you are best teacher for us
Extreme well. Feels exhilarating learning these expressions with you. It kind of an eye opening experience. You rock😊
THANKS EMMA FOR THIS INTERISTING LESSON
😗🙏🏻👏
Thank you so much Emma for these tips🙏
I just love the Australian accent. It’s so cool. But yes I’m not here for the accent. It sounds cool only when an Australian is talking to you. It’s scary when a non-Australian tries to mimic.
😂 So true!
Thanks Emm for this conversation,it's really very interesting for me
Hello Emma! Greta lesson. Thank you!
Tqqq sooo much Emma, you are a jem. I love ur videos ❤

Hi Emma. I missed watching your videos so much. Really! I am happy to see you again in this interesting video as usual. Million thanks Emma. I wish I could visit Australia one day.
Very clear lesson. Thanks a lot.
Thank you mam it is just an amazing lesson.
Thanku Emma for this video ❤️
For me as a person it has been very very difficult to be able to learn English, especially to understand it to read it I understand it but when I go to pronounce it it is very difficult for me it is not easy as you do with those beautiful eyes that you have Greetings from Colombia
Hello there! Have you been an English coach for long? I really like your vibe, you have such a bright aura, thank you for the lesson! 😘
Thank you Emma! Long time i didn't watch your video, you're still awesome. Now i just join the consortium with Australian students. Thanks a lot bcs this video help me to start conversation with them. I hope i can visit australia! Maybe just travelling? Or continue my study in Austalia? i really want to go to Australia! Some of my friend lived in Perth. Maybe i want to visit them too!!!
Thank you Emma, very practical lesson :) and I would like to encourage you to make more videos like this that are about everyday life in Australia. These videos are quite rare!
But I have to say my least favorite part is when it is presumed many Uber drivers are international students. As true as it may be, you meet people from different backgrounds all the time in Australia in the uni, library, at work, etc. where you can use the same phrases to start a conversation.
So true, Amir! It's a great, multi-cultural place.
Thank you Emma for your delighted videos 📹
I once visited Sydney in 2018 and liked it a lot. Thus I would love to explore more of Australia, but it is sooo far away from Germany...
Thank you for this video Emma! I will visit Sydney in next month, and it is really useful for me ❤
Your videos are very helpful for me to conversation with Australian
Top pick of the day ,Emma . I wander, Sydney n Melbourne are in my bucket list !
Hi there! I would like to say Thank you Emma for your lessons! I really undestand you! I feel my progress in learning English. It is cool!Спасибо за урок!
Love your lessons.
I would like to visit Australia one day as it's my dream!. I had the opportunity to travel to the UK several times and where I could manage in starting some conversations with the locals. It was really very useful. Thanks a lot for this beautiful lesson
Fantastic! Where were the best places to strike up a conversation with someone in the UK?
@@mmmEnglish_Emma the best way to satart a conversation in the UK was at the airport where I met some English people who helped us to manage with a taxi driver and then at the supermarket
Hi Emma, how's going?
Thanks for sharing these great tips with us. Your lessons are always very didactic.
Another great place to start a conversation is in the stadium. It's not so difficult to emphathize with a fan wearing the same team jersey. It feels more comfortable and speaking mistakes don"t really matter when you are supporting the same team, you can instantly feel the friendship.
Thanks Emma.
Australia has beautiful cities but I would like to visit Melbourne some day in the future.😊
You are so right, Naccio! This is an AWESOME suggestion, I couldn't agree more.
It's nice hearing u
Thanks
Really you are the perfect teacher❤️❤️
That's very kind of you!
Thanks Ms. Emma.❤
feel like I m going to love Australia so macha thanks to you Emma. You are amazing .
You definitely will! It's a lovely place.
How excellent your lecture is !
Thank you for this fantastic journey through the Australian culture and new phrases, Emma, this is very helpful! And here the cities and desirable destinations from my bucket list: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Gold Coast, Darwin, Kakadu National Park, Uluru, Coral Bay, Francois Peron National Park, Tasmania, Tjoritja, Kings Canyon Walk.
Wow, that is a round trip of Australia! So many beautiful places on your list - some on and some off the beaten track! I hope you get to all of them!

Good job Thank you for this lesson Maam 👌
Hi Emma. I came in Australia 3 weeks ago. I came from Turkey. I'm listening to you now from Australia:)
Thank you so much for teaching from Tibet
Thank you 🙏🙏
thank to your videos it is very helpful to us
Thank you 💕
it's a very interesting video ..and thanks Emma for this great tips ..I think the hardest part in any conversation is lies in the beginning of the conversation where your goal is to give a good first impression..
In fact I like it when you talk about getting out from comfort zone ..it's really easier said than done because you know you should go out and begin a new journey or a new project or changing your boring job and begin a new one or immigrate to a better country , you know all of this but you fear of the consequences of the failure of the new project - or any new thing - . But of course, the fear of change does not mean that a person should not try something new, On the contrary, a person should always try to do new things or as you said "to have a crack " - I hope I used the expression in the correct context-
For me, one of the countries I would like to visit or live in is Australia..but with the existence of this pandemic and the travel conditions related to it which require taking the vaccine..I will have to cancel the idea of traveling because I do not want to be vaccinated ..
keep up the good work Emma , and have a good day
I'm waiting for Australia open borders. I want to go to Hobart and study English there. I love your lessons in the meanwhile.
I'm waiting for our borders to open too! Hobart is beautiful - and Tasmania is mesmerising. If you love the wilderness, you will be obsessed.

Hi Emma, thanks for sharing this useful lesson. I wonder, if possible, can you please bring us a lesson about how to start a conversation with other parents in playgrounds or parks? Thanks!
Hey mam i am from india i think your explanation is superb and I can't explain about your voice i never ever listened such a beautiful voice
And abou your behaviour i wanna say that many youtubers have million of subscribers but they do not like comments and reply the but you have 4 million and you are such a cool guy u do not have attitude actually i m indian so i am thinking my english is wrong
Thank you lady, your presentation is really amazing and very informative. Bandula
You are a great teacher
I'm afraid the world is evolving in the financial sector and some people are still out of clue, leaving out on costly opportunities to financial freedom.
People are not clueless, is a digital world, there are lots of information everywhere, you can just say they are ignorant of more proper ways of making huge money from investments.
Your cash in savings, won't worth anything if you don't make proper use of it, It's not always about how much money you have though, but how much investment you got, make good use of your money and invest, there are many investment platforms, crypto, gold, real estate and all that, don't be dumb.
Where can someone who is interested in investment put his money on and yield a good profit, I have been slacking all these while
People who invest in crypto currency are the ones making a whole lotta money right now, and trust me you don't wanna be left out, investing in crypto changed my life.
Investing in crypto has been a get-away path from being poor, invest now and have your life change, talking from a very pleasant experience.
Hi Emma! I adore your accent and I'm going to do my best till speaking English like you 😊
You can do it, Ahlem! 😘
@@mmmEnglish_Emma Thank you a million 🥰
Thank you so much for this interesting video as usual! When I went to Australia, even people speak fast and with a lot of connecting speech (you love to short the words!), it was easy to speak a bit with them. They are very friendly. I hope we will soon be able to travel and visit a part of our family who lives there. We visited Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne (we visited little penguins on Philip Island and the twelve apostles on the ocean road. It was amazing!). We plan to visit other beautiful places. The island is so huge! Have a nice week.
How fabulous, you've been to so many famous sites! But you're right - there are many more!! I hope you get to come back and visit soon!
