i have a question, for example 1 i dont get how u got 2 when u subtracted 2-10, when the answer to that is -8

I don't see where your question is on the equation. With inverse operation, you want to isolate the variable, P is the variable here. You remove the constant first which is 10 here using the inverse. Next will be the coefficient which is 2.
