I have a FUJI white 2014 base with plus package. The plus package is really a great buy in that you get basically everything that the other premium packages have but with all those things in a slightly less opulence but still very very nicely done and with luxury. I've had over 30 new vehicles in my life - no I don't have money just a spending problem LOL. This is my 3rd Land Rover product and of everything I've ever owned this is my favorite vehicle. From a Honda Civic SI , to 4 Jeeps, to Nissan Pathfinder Limited, to Toyota 4Runner, to you get the point. Every time I drive this I love it. Never bored like everything else I owned including my Mini Countryman S which got old fast. I will say that with Land Rover there are always little things here and there that need "adjusting" IE several transmission computer updates. Trim pieces that need to be snapped back on their clips. Little things like that . My ONLY major advice is don't look at Consumer Reports write-up on this because they don't have a clue what their talking about. 2. When your about to reach your warranty end , IE 4 years of 50K miles, trade it in for a new one OR get a good extended warranty on this because they do cost a fortune to fix AFTER the warranty is over. The dealers are very good about bending over backwards for you under warranty though. All said, BUY it or lease it , you will really love this thing.

Update: visited the dealers today and took a look at their new model, confirmed it was a 2015 evoque dynamic lux edition, getting a quote in the next couple of days for it and luckily it's petrol:D! Thanks for confirming that your review one was a petrol.

The only complaint I have is the exhaust form other cars enters the car cabin .I can't explain it.I never had this before .I always owned BMWs they are sealed tight no fumes.A car/bus//truck, could be far away and it comes in . No its not the RR.... other than that Its fun and its true it stands out everywhere .

When u push the button to close the baggage door what if u have some big luggage or something and the door i some way hits ot would the door open or will it close?

It just beeps and stays in that position until you lift the gate and adjust what its hitting.
Is there any version of the Evoque that has spare tire underneath the car instead of inside the trunk? Because I want to install a subwoofer system in the back but the spare tire is in the way.
demoneyes9 Unfortunately, not at the moment. But there's plenty of space in the trunk, I'm sure you can find a spot to fit it ;)
Like actual range rover can you increase ground clearance in evoque by few inches if needed with air suspension not with bigger tires?

It's a gorgeous SUV. But I have a couple issues with it, such as the miniscule view out the back with such a small rear window.
If you dont have the key with you...you cant unlock or lock it right?
+ReallyBadSeed lol? Dude its a remote start the feature is not new man. You cannot unlock the car doors or trunk without the remote key fob being within a certain distance of the car. For my 2011 camry with the same feature the key fob needs to be within 2-3 feet of the car for it to unlock when you pull the handle. Its not like just anyone can grab the handle and unlock it.
Too expensive, just came to make myself feel even more poor. Why I do dis?

They actually seem pretty reasonable. I thought there were 80k cars but they sell them in the UK for as low as 35k new. Then again seeing they're horribly unreliable they have no choice. Even someone loaded as fuck would think twice about buying one at 80k.

On ipad so can't reply unfortunately: But yes am planning one purchasing going for a test drive later to see how it feels and then will probably get it. It sucks that there is only Diesel engine here in the UK for this car, since I'm not a big fan of the noise but this car may be an exception. In London they're also making drivers with diesel cars pay money for going in and out of the city due to the new studies claiming diesel isn't as good as it turned out to be :(

There are people here who have no clue about the car. For instance the remark about the glass top not being a good idea.....why.....don't you think the designer has put a lot of thought into these extras. Find another car that can teeter on diagonally opposite wheels with the other two diagonals off the ground and the body stays dead rigid. If not that glass would be the first casualty. Don't make stupid remarks that just show your lack of knowledge. I own one so I know its capabilities.
