Hello, I've seen another video with a Norwegian having darker skin like the lady at 2:24. Do you know if these darker skinned people are second generation immigrants, natives, like Native Americans, or something else? Just wondering.
None of these people seem to understand what flirting actually is! I didn't see much flirting in the year I spent in Norway. It's not initiating contact, or showing intent, it happens after that. And it usually involves being a bit suggestive, hint hint Edit- the guy who mentioned teasing came the closest
I almost feel like flirting does not exist in Norway, not unless it’s like a mutual tinder type thing, but for like serious interest? I have no memory of this being a thing in Norway. Hence why I never knew how to talk to any Norwegian guy ever lol.
great video but i miss the bit you usually put at the end when they all say where their dialect is from! pls include this because it is very helpful :) thank u for your videos!
Yeah it's just that there were so many people included in the video that the dialect section would be like 3-4 minutes long, you'll see where their dialects come from in the future videos, no worries 😎
Came to comment the same thing because I'm so interested to hear the last girl's answer to the dialect question, her accent doesn't sound like any I've heard! I'm still super inexperienced at telling apart/identifying accents/dialects
@@kittykat490 That last girl has a bit if an accent from her first language, but the dialect she is speaking is «trøndersk», from the county «Trøndelag» which is in the middle part of Norway. So Norwegian relationships never existed before Snapchat and Tinder? No wait, before booze. So Norway became a country when they discovered alcohol and random sex. And then Snapchat and Tinder made it much easier for them to actually say "hello" without going into cardiac arrest. Then they get together for alcohol and sex and talk of when big man and little man are going to fall.
tv.nrk.no/ is about as easy as it gets. If you're learning Norwegian (norsk), there are children's shows that use easier words, and you can work up to adult based shows.
Soooo Tinder in the states is a straight up "Hook up" site so it's funny to hear all these people say Tinder. I know it's probably not like that in Norway but it's still funny to hear.
Hi Guys! do you have any idea if the last lady is of Norwegian origin or is from another country, because she looks Latin and/or Asian? Btw, all the interviewees seem to be down-to-earth and kind.
I think we, Latinos, can give some bad and good lessons on flirting. However in my country, Chile, younger generations don't tend to do it so much anymore from what I see.
I have notice in Norway, people need to drink before speak.. many girls drink some much, and is not attractive anymore. I live sort time in Norway of course, but i think they can't socialise without drunk.

Ok, so I have to ask, Being a Korean-American, both being countries where flirting is pretty common and done a lot... is it uncomfortable for Norwegians in general if someone flirts a lot with them? Like is it overbearing? Should I chill a little or just straight up just be like a cheeky little bunny ( lol that was cringe but u know what I mean) tend to have a flirty and warm personality soo... Definitely uh, asking for a friend!... ha ha...😅😳
You drink 10 beer and cheer. That explains a lot to me. I live since 5 years in Norway and I didn‘t figure out to get a girlfriend. No I know, why: I don‘t use Tinder, I don‘t drink alcohol or use other fancy stuff 😂 My fault, I guess.
Once a very nice girl from Oslo named Vibeke told me: how do I know when a Norwegian man is flirting with me? ¨He stops looking at his shoes and starts looking at mine¨.
So... in another word... it's pretty much the same as the rest of the world! Human beings, are pretty much the same... especially when they share the same origin, culture and values. Not to mention... the expectations of the opposite sex.
