I have a question. I have everything set up like u do in the video but my illusions (phantasms) always turn into clones after the first (or 2) attacks. Can you tell me why? Because yours at 6:36 stay activated and dont turn into clones... Cannot figure it out :(
I would still use chronomancer in this build, I really don't think that you lose any dps with it, chronophantasma allows you to shatter without losing your Swordsmen and shield 5 does considerable dmg so you can add it in your rotation, now add on top of everything shatter 5.. yeah I can't see the dps drop you can possibly have.
demonsangells you loose the traits that make the build work if you play chrono. You need dueling for faster sword cds, domination for vuln stacking, and illusions for phantasm attack speed and damage stacking every time they attack. If you slot chrono you loose a ton of damage. Bc the only option is to swap dueling. 9s blurred frenzy vs 12s > shield 5 and phantasm shatter replacement. They come back dazed as well. That's not good.
this is my personal opinion but for raids: you will not really have an option to join a random raid as mesmer without expansions, since there is a certain meta which is demanded in raids( which u just have to google) and you can only play the meta builds with the expansions (unless you do raids in guildruns, or which also is a very nice option, do it in training runs, there you will get a ton of usefull tipps not only on raid strats but also on your build options)

no, since after u summon ur sword illusion it will attack once then turn into a clone and deal no dmg which means u have to shatter it and resummon
