Solid review! Qe are heading on her for a 9 day in Oct of this year. This is our 3rd carnival cruise and ship. 1st was a 7 day on Jubilee then 4 day on the Breeze with the kids now 9 days wirh the kids and a balcony. We are going to have a great time!
I just finished the 5-day to Cabo and Ensenada. My first cruise! I really enjoyed the variety of foods, the Serenity deck, the friendly employees, and the various activities. I had an ACC room, which was much more spacious than the regular rooms. After watching a few Miracle tour videos, I was semi-prepared for the unusual decor. It is rather chaotic and quirky, but fun!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the ship, we have yet to do that sailing but it’s on our list from California. The Miracle is definitely a ship that has some odd decor but we love the layout and size!
Miracle was our first cruise during the post pandemic restart last October -- my FAVORITE place was Gatsby's Garden. Food was typical Carnival fare for this type of ship (we did Radiance this summer). LOVE the 4 day out of Catalina -- my go to itinerary every year. I do plan to book this ship after it's drydock. It was my babies' first cruise so I have a special love for this ship. Thanks for the video! happy cruising.
Good review. I agree with everything I want to emphasize this ship has the best waterslide of all ships-goes straight down. A balcony room is a must I love opening the doors at night and letting the fresh ocean air in
We just did the Ensenada run a few weeks ago. The Miracle feels like a great size. I think a B+ is a good overall rating. We had the same thoughts about food being a little bland in general and also really enjoyed Nick and Nora's one night, (a solid "A" for service and food). My wife and I already booked the same weekend next year and are looking forward to it. We love sailing from our home port of San Francisco and also love the relaxed and fun energy Carnival brings to their cruises. Thank you for this video, I would have enjoyed a few more visuals of the ship. Cheers!
We haven’t been to Ensenada yet but it’s on our list for sure. Thanks so much for the comment and I will definitely add more clips of the ship in future videos. I appreciate the feedback!
Food mostly everywhere is “bland,” and this because Spices are expensive and there’s a fine line between seasoned and “over seasoned” and I think a lot of restaurants have cut back on the amount of spices they put on food so it’s not returned as much…
Thats very true and definitely agree with that. We love some spice, maybe one day we can see a Thai restaurant on board that would be amazing! Thanks for commenting!
Carnival Miracle is one of our favorites. Just the right size. Nick and Nora's our favorite Carnival steakhouse very spacious unlike Fahrenheit 555 low ceilings and cramped. We are going again in November right after dry dock. We like the Spirit Class ships the best.
@@funnelheads My wife took her 1st cruise with me on Miracle 8 years ago in November. This is like an anniversary for us. I will try to send you pics of the improvements.
Her name was Georgia, and she was fantastic. We saw her everywhere and was actually surprised since it was an Alaska cruise, and we weren't on the ship that much. Thanks!
Just got off this ship a week ago, went to Alaska for 10 days with 15 in our party. We would have to grade this ship a "D". Based on food, entertainment, and 1 bad experience with a photo employee who made our decision for us to not buy any photo's. Buffet was not good, coffee was like drinking mud it was so strong, and when we asked about it we were told it was beyond their control because the machine made it that way, that was a lie because 1 coffee station the coffee was much better. But overall horrible coffee on the Lido buffet area. Guys burgers was good, deli was not bad, formal dining room food was average and several times food came out not cooked enough or over cooked with not much flavor. WE didn't like the decor of the ship it seemed dated to us. All 15 of us would not cruise on this ship again, and I will not cruise Carnival again, I'll stick with Royal Caribbean I like them much better.
We have been on new ships and everything in between, as well as different cruise lines. This ship is 20 years old but is clean, layout is great and has many options for a great cruise.
Thank you for the review. I'm sailing on it in July 2023 to Alaska. The information about the "indoor" pool really helped!
Your very welcome! Enjoy your cruise, it’s a beautiful ship!

Thanks so much for sharing! We have not done the western Mexico itinerary yet but it's definitely on our list!
Thank you! We will be on the Miracle in Februrary for Mexican Riviera!
Oh beautiful, we haven’t been to Mexico Rivera but it’s definitely on our list to do! You will have to tell us all about it!
Looking forward to the Miracle in January. First cruise ever with my sales team haha should be fun..
Oh you guys will have the best time! Thanks for checking out the channel!
From Long Beach on the 31st? I’ll be on that cruise with the Real Bearded Santa’s group!

Thanks so much as well as your added feedback! We agree about the balcony. We LOVE having the door open at night!

Great review: very thorough
Thanks so much!
Looking forward to going on the miracle in Feb for the first time.
You will have a great time! What ports are you going to?
Feb 9th here...cabo and ensenada!
We are booked to Alaska in May- I am so excited!!
oh awesome! You are going to have a terrific time!
Enjoyed all of your content. Have never cruised on the Miracle!
Great ship! Thanks Kathy!
My first carnival miracle experience next month!
Have an amazing cruise!
I’m going to be on this ship in November but thanks for all the information about the ship
You’re very welcome! Enjoy, she will have the beautiful new livery colors by then.
I like the Gatsby garden.
No mention of rooms. Rooms are old. Any time you see the old small tv’s get a better ship
We don’t go on cruises for a tv and the cabins we are only in to change and sleep.

You missed the casino..................... LOL would of loved a detailed report.... but still great review.
Next time! Sorry, we just got into dabbling in the casino so I wouldn’t have been able to tell you much anyway. Thanks!!
Awesome thank you
No problem! Thank you for watching and commenting!
When did the great Tobey McGuire start a UA-cam channel? Love the content. Thanks for all the info.
Haha! I get it all the time. Even more so now that he was in the most recent Spiderman. Thanks so much!
Im gonna be on this one in December
Was there a mention of the rooms here? Maybe I missed it....
We had a aft balcony on this ship and absolutely loved it. What cabin were you in/thinking of?
@@funnelheads Thinking of a balcony or suite.
Who was the Cruise Director? Did s/he make a fun daily presence around the ship?
Her name was Georgia, and she was fantastic. We saw her everywhere and was actually surprised since it was an Alaska cruise, and we weren't on the ship that much. Thanks!
@@funnelheads Thank you😊
Great content!!! Does this ship have lido movies at night?
I was just on the Miracle on Oct 3rd and there was no movie on lido deck
@@Lisa224 😢 we love the movies
:(
Food - can you bring a small bottle of Cholula and perhaps a spicy dry seasoning on board for your palate? 😎
More B-roll! Then I'll consider subscribing. 😉
You got it! Thanks for the feedback!

This ship sucks. I’m sorry. It really sucks compared to the newer ships. His standards are very low. I’ll give it a D+

Agreed.
