ensoniq2k Yeah it was strange seeing myself on Max’s video. I went out this morning and practiced hopping forwards. I have force myself not to bail too early. It’s scary leaning forward past the balance point!
Hi Max, I always found it hard to get the front wheel further back when falling backwards until I realised I just need to pull the feet closer. This way the bike rotates forward, moving the front wheel backwards. It feels counterintuitive at first, but really helps. Of course extending your legs helps against falling over.
YEAH!. You are doing something I CAN ACTUALLY DO on a 20 inch bmx! Incidentally I learnt to hop on the back wheel of a Pro scooter today in the yard cos i was board. Its quite odd using the footbrake instead of a handbrake. But yeah it was one of teh first move si learnt on a bmx years back.
Beim absteigen schlage ich mir immer die E**er am Vorbau an, also wenn ich abfedern. haste nen tipp? aber echt gutes video ... finde die idee mit den patreons super!
Hey man, how to select a bike under $600 for such tricks? I already can do a wheelie but I have a sports gravel bike and want to try to go furthermore.
always like to see a new video from you, keep it up mate
Now I have to learn the break-dance worm! Thanks Max for all your help on these! It made a big difference!
We're in a video together, great collaboration 😁

Thank you! Got my first 10 hops today because of you! The whole new move for me, took about 2 weeks of practice. Your video helped so much!
I can do one front hop on a good day. Time to step it up.

Ist mir ehrlichgesagt noch nie passiert :D Vielleicht nicht so stark mit den Beinen abfedern?
Would you say learning footjam hops first is easier or might it be counterproductive? Love your tutorials by the way, they really are the best!
They're a very similar learning process. Learning them will probably take about the same amount of time. :)
@@TheUselessTrials Danke!

Can you do this whit a mountain bike? Because that’s the only bike I have
I struggle to get the rear wheel up stait
Any tips?
Are you riding a flow 22 inch ? If so how would you compare to learning this on a 24 inch?
Front hops are about the same difficulty on both bikes.
What tire size is your black street trials bike?
While hopping, is it important to block the rear brake?
You can, but you don't have to.
Awesome Tutorial!!
You should thank Brian Hong too! lol...
You probably don't know who he is.. He is a rider from the 1900s.
Finally! I improved quite a bit but not yet enough. The disco worm is the next thing I'm practicing. P. S. I'm going to be famous now! 😁
ua-cam.com/video/_Mq7rpT1ozI/v-deo.html I think you'll get the idea. It's a bit like the motion you need for placing the wheel further back
where do you live in Germany?
Size 24" or 26"
Is it imoptant to have your legs in a 90° angle ??
Reply to your first comment: Practice!
And you should bend your legs, yes.
Man... I still waiting for bunnyhop tutorials of yours... 😞
I dont know man... I feel my hop is no good
is somebody else amazed by his push up jump ?
btw is there a risk of the fork breaking while hopping? xDDD
I think there is on bikes that aren't made for it :D
@@TheUselessTrials ok :)
It's that big bmx ? I want to buy
It's a street trials bike. It's called Inspired Flow 22"
Fährst du zur Zeit noch?
Ja, aber nicht jeden Tag.
Me, a dirt jumper, who doesn't have a front brake
