Think some folk need to get off Sam's back a bit. He's co-hosting the show alongside Gordon Duncan who has hosted Superscoreboard with footballing pundits for years now and he's been a Sky Sports presenter alongside Sutton and Boyd several times before so of course the banter and chat comes more naturally to Gordon with people he's already met and knows well enough. Sam has come from a youtube background and is very well informed and invested in Scottish football and he will make these connections in time and settle more into the role now that he's starting to meet and interviews footballing figures more regularly...
As a pundit, Sutton grinds my gears. But in this format, with Boyd, who is clearly a good personal friend, I thought he was great. This has been one of the best episodes so far, and on balance I have found this a good show throughout.
I get what suttons saying about engles but when he says he is only 21 but so was Matt oreilly and look at his performances in comparison, even when we signed engles I would have stuck with bernardo just until engles gets settled as he understands and knows the system and players and has never let us down from what iv seen
