    The AFC west is gonna be an absolute bloodbath for the next 5 years at least. Three elite coaches, two elite QBs and one with the potential to become elite, and one team is at the apex while the other two are already good and still ascending. My heart goes out to raiders fans 😂

The clock management after the INT was awful, helped the Chargers get 3 free points. Then Payton abandoned the running game and put Nix in harm's way. With 8 seconds left in the half, and Broncos facing a punting situation, most opposing coaches would have let the clock run out. Especially when you're getting your a$$ kicked like the Chargers had been. But Harbaugh isn't like most coaches. So he takes a timeout. Because he never quits, never gives up. And because, as a former NFL player, he knows nothing is a sure thing. As a consequence, those next 8 seconds will literally go down in the books as one of the best coaching calls of this NFL season. That game, and perhaps the Chargers, Broncos playoff hopes turned on a dime with that call. It was shrewd, and it was brilliant.

    Harbaugh''s defense is actually a lot different from the one Staley had last year. Sure, big names like Bosa, Mack and Derwin stuck around, but the DL, LB, and secondary saw a drastic makeover. IDLs Sebastien Joseph-Day and Austin Johnson were replaced by Poona Ford and Teair Tart; gone are LBs Kenneth Murray and Eric Kendricks in favor of Daiyan Henley (a carry-over who was underutilized under Staley), Junior Colson , Denzel Perryman and Troy Dye; and the secondary saw a major overhaul with starting CBs Asante Samuel and Michael Davis giving way to Kristian Fulton, Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart. S Derwin James and Alohi Gilman are holdovers, but Elijah Molden also saw significant playing time (not just in dime packages), bolstered by Tony Jefferson and Marcus Maye. Even Bosa and Mack saw their snap counts reduced by Tuli Tuitulopu and Bud Dupree. This defense is not only better qualitatively overall but also much deeper than the previous one.

Bronco fans are so desperate for a good QB that many just ignore some obvious issues Nix has as of now. Again, he has a chance but he is not nearly as good RIGHT NOW as some think.

Also tied Elway and Herbert for 3k yards passing and 300 yards rushing in a season. yeah keep talking ceilings, it's high.

    • @russamelang1485
      @russamelang1485 9 днів тому +3

      Nix is a good QB, but hes behind an Oline that barely allows pressures, a HOF head coach, and a top 3 defense (#1 coming into the game). If his ceiling was as high as people thought, he would be able to throw down the field and win games when the support doesn't help, but he hasn't shown that yet. Multiple games this season, he's been the reason they 've almost lost. I think Nix is good and has a high ceiling, and said before the year that he would be the best rookie QB, but he's gotta sharpen up before he's considered good

Nix is good but he won’t get much love because like Herbert they’re stuck in a division dominated by Mahommes. But say he was in another division or conference Nix would be getting all the hype and praise. Just being in the AFC West with Mahommes he’s definitely going to be overshadowed.

It takes an elite GM team to keep the defensive stats from falling off a cliff with so much turnover. Previous years you always said the same thing: this team had too many injuries, they can't compete. This year they had about the same, but injuries were not the excuse for a losing record.

Bo Nix is not a Drew Brees, as some claim; he's more like a right-handed version of Steve Young, and I believe he will win a Super Bowl. On the other hand, I don't think Herbert will ever achieve that. Let’s wait and see what Nix accomplishes on the field. Mark my words: he’s going to be great. His drive, determination, and competitiveness are second to none.

    So there might be One or Two GM’s that would take him over Herbert, especially since he has led the 49ers to a couple of NFC championships and a Super Bowl…
