There is a reason why yeji is main dancer. Finally you noticed yeji too, I hope fans will not ignore her, she also needs to be praised, yeji deserves all our admiration!
Keep in mind that these scores are solely based on the member's execution of "Not Shy" choreography & any growth they have shown overtime. Thus, I feel that it is unfair to both the creator and Itzy to perceive this video as some sort of competition to see who is the "best overall/idol dancer" in Itzy or among ALL Kpop groups. So please do not spread any hate comments on an opinion based video. In "Not Shy", Chaeryeong has incredible dynamics & body control, & Yeji displays flavorful facials & versatility. They are all wonderful dancers at the end of the day! That is why they are a popular Kpop group in the first place ~
Very well said! I have no idea why some people get so worked up over videos like these. Just because we're comparing who danced this specific choreo the best, doesn't mean anyone is saying one idol is objectively better than the other.
As someone with little to no experience in dancing, I might value other aspects of the dance over someone who has been dancing professionally for X amount of years.
I always feel so bad for the creator when their video that they probably worked very hard on gets bashed because they just stated their opinion.

Yup this analysis is good but it does not determine whose a better dancer and does not define the full extent of an idol's skills because it's only based on one song/choreography. Some idols might be able to adopt and feel more comfortable dancing in different genres than what's shows in the analysis. Take nct 127 and nct dream's analysis for example. Haechan got a C tier in nct 127 but B in the nct dream one
Agreed, but something I noticed that is kind of fascinating is how they stood out in eras that they weren’t 1st in execution. Yeji stood out in Wannabe and Chaeryeong stood out in Not Shy, but they both weren’t 1st in execution for that specific dance. Anyway stan Itzy

for me yeji and chae are both at the same level when it comes to dancing, but yeji has unique facial expressions, so it makes her stand out more.

This is the 1st time I’ve seen Yeji higher than Chae on one of these videos and as a bias of both I’m happy. Cause they both deserve the spotlight. No matter what vid comes out they’ll always be tied. One is super duper fluid and technique based the other is sharp and high energy. They’re both #1😌

Yeji is only higher in facials and angles. In every other category, Chaeryeong was equal to or higher. Effectively, it says that Chaeryeong danced Not Shy better than Yeji but her stagnant facial expressions bought her down significantly.
aya it’s crazy cause Chae usually has better angles especially in Wannabe and Icy she was praised for them. I noticed her angles this comeback weren’t as good because she honestly looked like she was grooving with it

Idk what happened to Chaeryeong this comeback in facial expression. She was not the best in this, but she was smiling, now I feel a melancholic halo around her :( I hope she gets better
Milka Real Mora her stage presence this era was phenomenal though. She had the best stages in my opinion and usually Yejis and Yunas are the only one that get me
She always had the weakest facial expressions in the group because I think she still lacks confidence, but she's getting more and more through the comebacks, sure she'll be perfect in no time !
I don't think Chae was at her worst but yes she has some psychological issues and it can impact her performance.
The hate and bullying she had to go through was a traumatic experience, she said herself that she tends to try to hide and not stands out.
Lia also seems like she is having a hard time.

I really enjoy this new format. It’s a lot clearer and not too fast paced. Also, THANK YOU for bringing up Chaeryeong’s facials. Facials are what brings the dance to life for me and I thought I was losing my mind since no one brought it up. She’s obviously still an amazing dancer, but if she brings up those facials, that would put her over the top for me!
I also sometimes find myself engaging less with the choreo on Chaeryoung's parts even though I love watching her solo and pre-debut stuff. Definitely is the facials. She has the potential to have great facials as we can see in variety shows, but she just need to practice keeping them in the dance.
As for her angles I think she just needs to improve her stamina.

I really like this new format! Now my eyes are not rushing through the screen to find the red square and read the text before the next move happens and you have to shift. I used to have to pause the videos a lot in order to read your analysis, which was understandable given thst the old format was bound to the duration of the song. This is much better!, Thank you for your hard work, it really shows :)

I'm obsessed with Yeji's dance style and performances overall. I hope she collaborates with Lia Kim; Lia's style would definitely suit Yeji.
And also, I wanna give props to Yuna this comeback. She was already a great dancer back then but she still improved.
I'm really proud of *Yuna* , she improves with every comeback and definitely deserves her lead dancer position. Imagine where she will be in a few more comebacks - she has the least trainee period with Lia together and starting dancing from scratch as well, debuting with only 15, now she's still just 16 and already on that level. Itzy truly has a gem as their maknae!
I agree that Yeji really dance Not Shy the best specially that body wave part and her rap part dance. But as usual fans are busy ignoring her so

I don’t see any comments talking about Yuna or Ryujin, and they both improved so so much! Ryujins sharp and strong moves and her popping GO OFF QUEEN. And Yuna’s facials and charisma BEAUTIFUL.
Yuna is three steps away from excellence. She's still a kid! She began incredibly young, and yet she already has her own style: hyper energetic, bubbly, bouncy and fun. I have great hopes for her, because she has the "it", the personality... two more years to improve her technique and she'll be giving Lisa a run for her money.
Chae is great technically, but she needs the opposite, to let herself loose, and to improve her facial expressions. In any case, they have time to improve and I really have great hopes for them. But Yuna can become one of the greatest dancers in the world.

Honestly I thought I was the only one that preferred yeji this time. Yes chae is an amazing dancer but for not shy I really thought yeji did well. Great analysis!! And I. So glad you’re back, the editing format is so much better too rather than the full dance.
I always think yeji executed each choreographies of itzy better because i prefer her style. Both are equally great because people prioritize different things in dancing. I don't know why most people acting like their opinions are facts. I can say yeji is better without saying that chaer is less good and some people can also say chaer is better without saying that yeji is less good. What's so difficult about having that kind of mindset?

Yeji’s dancing is under appreciated , at first (Dalla Dalla era) she was sooo hyped for having a great dancing skill(which is good) but I don’t know what happened after that. After Dalla Dalla era, people keep saying even in a lowkey way that ‘Chaeryeong and Yeji are great dancers but Chae is a better one cuz Yeji is more of an Idol dancer’ and I think this is one of the solo stans' way of downgrading someone without directly saying it.
They say Chae is underrated yet she’s ALWAYS complimented for being a really great dancer , but if Yeji was complimented everyone has something to say about her skills (Just an Idol dancer, Chae is better, and many many more). This is just so sad, this video proves that one's skill isn’t measured by competition, it is how they improve on their OWN greatness. Besides, Chae and Yeji kill their dance styles in their own way, the thing to be differentiated is that they have different dancing styles to begin with.
We could say Chae really suits Wannabe while Yeji really suits Dalla Dalla, it depends on their styles. Whatever their styles are, there will always be analysis, opinions, ranking etc, and its totally unavoidable AND we should just realize that by now. Overall, I just wanted to say that please don’t ever let someone's ‘underratedness’ be your basis on downgrading someone. It's toxic and you know that.
Overall, both of them aren’t equal dancers, they are great dancers in their own greatness. The members said Yeji is the best dancer, but it doesn’t mean Chae is less. People say Chae is a better dancer, but it doesn’t mean Yeji is less. So let’s just not sugarcoat everything, it’s okay to like someone's dancing style and not like the other, but don’t downgrade the other person as if she isn't also good. It won’t make you more of a great person.

Edit: I also realized that there are so many toxic stans in the first video analysis (Wannabe) that are complimenting Chae whil downgrading Yeji. It's actually a proof that people are totally unfair. In this video, it's more light and no one comes after Yeji's dance while downgrading Chae, it looks like they are ALWAYS sure that Chae is the best. The Wannabe analysis knowing that Chae came first, has ALOT of comparing with Chae and Yeji. smh. I honestly hope this fandom won't turn ITZY down because of solo and toxic stans.

ninirose yeji is being hated by some of the INT FANS to much, the fact that some made a group chat to report her fancams and everything. Lol they hate her not because shes ugly or untalented, but instead they hate her for being too TALENTED because they are afraid that Yeji might outshine other members..and shouldnt we praise her for being to talented, its not like we are degrading other members but we are facing that FACTS, Yeji is not called the Weapon of JYPE for nothing

Since yeji is my bias, I was really sad whenever somebody compliment her, a bunch of chae stans have to downgrade her ability by raising their bias up, like how chae is more stable, or a better dancer, and if any yeji stans complain how she is hated, they always said that chae received much more hatred than yeji. I mean when they first debut, it was chae mom that bring up the subject of her appearance to public, knet was actually quite supportive of her. Lia was the one that constantly received hatred from knet, from her weight, her appearance to her singing ability, and I don't see her stans bringing that up on yeji related comments.
Honestly, yeji stans have been leading the album sales, her ranking is consistent every month, she is well loved by knet. I don't understand why some midzy constantly feel the need to put her down. I personally admire yeji. She might not be a gifted dancer like chae, but she is hard working, perfectionist, and very kind. She really shows me how hard work will be paid off in the end.

like??? what does "idol dancer" even mean? they are _equal_ dancers. facial expressions are as important as other aspects (for example: arm control), so it's stupid not to count it, and to say Chae is better dancer. Yeji didn't dance for years for people to say that "she is a better performer". both of them are great dancers, the one whose technique fits the most will dance better a certain choreography the best, that's it

I read a few comments of appreciation about Yeji's way of dancing and those few who preferred her were criticize. How sad. They're both good. Let's just appreciate them. Compliment and praise without downgrading someone.

For me, I use both chae and yeji when I learn a dance because it’s so interesting to see the different ways a move can be executed. I feel like I prefer watching chae dance a little bit more because I just enjoy the fluidity, but yeji totally owned this choreography. Dancing queens as always

My bias is Chae but i agree Yeji owns this song. Their levels are super close they can easily change ranks depending on the choreo that suits their style best. Yuna said as trainees these two were also the top performers picked by the teacher. They are both spectacular dancers. Thanks for a very great video!

This was such an interesting video! I really appreciate your attention to detail - I'd never noticed that Ryujin did left shoulder pop in the beginning haha
The biggest improvement I can see on Ryujin is her facial expressions, I remember during Dalla Dalla she would always have the same expression, she would sometimes even looked bored but now she looks like she is having so much fun during the performance.

Gabriela yep yeji is still one of the most popular member outside of the fandom. Ot4/solo stans are the ones who bring her down the most, because they still see this member as "underrated/underappreciated" when she's already the most appreciated member. As you can see here in the comments and other comment sections of videos talking about itzy's performances, there are only a few people who talk about yeji and when they do you'll see in the replies names of other members who they think did it best. You will not see yeji stans doing that to other member related comments. There's nothing wrong with sharing an opinion, what's wrong is saying that "it's just my opinion" but actually trying to change the original commenter's opinion and perspective. It's so tiring seeing another member's name in the replies of every single comment about yeji.
This is better than the other channel who do the same content like 'who dance the best?'
I recommend this channel for finding a content like tackling detailed information in dancing and etc...

I wasn’t expecting Yeji and Chaeryoung to be where they’re at. But I agree. I also feel like Chaeryoung sometimes is stiff. For example 7:56 her leg movements looks a bit stiff, but overall good. I like videos like these so I can look at who’s doing what the best so I can not only improve my dancing skills, but help me better learn and understand the movements in Kpop dances when I learn them. Thank you.
I think her outfit may be at fault. Your attire can really hinder your dancing sometimes, I once had to perform in a gown, idk how i did not tripped even once

Mary's explaination is actually a very great reason for her "stiffness". As of this era, she does have the weakest leg control out of the three best dancers in ITZY. This might be due to a minor injury or sore but someone's clothing is still a great factor
@@iloveasylums2506 yes, I understand. I didn’t know about her leg injury. I will take that into consideration. But I like her explaination. She gives good detail and reasoning. Plus evidence to support it, which not many dance rankings do. Usually they’re bias, it this one isn’t.
@@uselanemurat818 she didn't have any leg injury but she could have since her leg control actually regresses this era. It's possibly a minor injury or just sore from practice

Why CLC? CLC is surely under appreciate group that all seven members have amazing talents, and their main dancer, Seungyeon, is an amazing dancer and always have a monthly dance cover on Cube Channel. I hope you can analyze them to help Cheshire (the fandom) and appreciate how amazing Seungyeon is and explain to us how amazing She is is. We know that she’s awesome, but we are not an expert like you so we need the lovely analysis from you 😊 The groups has 7 members who are practically good at dancing with various concepts, I hope you’ll look at them 😊

I feel like that objectively Yeji is a better dancer for me than Chaeryong in all ways except fluidity.
Yeji tends to overdo dancing. I think its her way of wanting to perfect the routine. But yeah, she isn't Jyp's ace for nothing.

I personally prefer Chaeryeong’s dancing and I was thinking how I disagree (which I respect anyway) but thought how from what I think, Chaeryeong’s technique as a dancer is slightly better then Yeji’s, but Yeji is a fantastic performer so both are fantastic but in different ways
