@@iiosoyich The QST 99 is quite heavy for a ski mountaineering ski. I use it more because It has more power and stability for faster skiing. The MTN 95 is lighter so better for uphill and has less swing weight so I use that for steeper descents and longer distances. The MTN 95 is a great ski though. I really like it!
Hey man. Eiffel here. I was wondering why you looked so familiar when I first saw you. Turns out I watched your videos on epic tv and those skiing tutorials before. Hahahaha. Anyway, good job and hope to see you and Ross in chamonix one day.
Ya we know. We skied a completely separate line on the face to the right. I’ll agree Tom Grant, Ben Briggs and Enrico skied the whole face from the top col first and Sam and Joe skied the second descent of that line.
Perhaps get all the facts? I’ve spoken a lot with Tom and also Sam smoothy about our line and they agree it is different and a first descent of a “new line”

good camera; felt I was there; never will be though... Mt hutt double black delivers enough fear
Thanks guys. It was good to revisit Cinerama col again, one of my old stomping grounds, it was always my way out of the Grand Plateau.
Glad you enjoyed it
That got my pulse racing just watching. Can’t begin to imagine how steep that was for real. Awesome.
Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks alan. Was a pretty stand out day for sure!

Thank you!
Dave, I've been following on and off your adventures since you started out in Cham - now that descent is pretty damn impressive! Complimenti!!!!!!
BTW, what skis are you using in the video? Still Salomons?
Thanks very much Julian! It was awesome. Going to post a couple other videos of the trip soon!
@@iiosoyich YEah I'm using the Salomon QST 99's they might be my new favourite skis!
@@DaveSearle Those aren't ski mountaineering ski right? I'm about to pick up a lighter pair of Explorer MTN 95s for the longer tours this winter.

Thanks Effel!
A reminder to pick your decent line!
Always!
Ben Grant and his team skied the whole face from the top in 2018 mate. And skied again a few days ago by Joe Collinson, Will Rowntree and Sam smoothy.
