Princess of Wales reveals she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy

- The Princess of Wales has issued a video message revealing she has cancer and is in the early stages of chemotherapy treatment. The princess said that although her abdominal surgery in January had been successful, subsequent tests revealed that cancer was present. 'As you can imagine, this has taken time,' Catherine said in the video filmed on 20 March: 'But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK'.

Yup. As someone with a chronic illness who’s watched healthcare all but disappear it’s very triggering to witness citizens crying over a wealthy yt woman who will recieve the best care in the world, with nothing in their hearts at all for the hundreds of thousands of disabled or sick people who have died at the hands of their Tory pal’s legislation. The money we give these very wealthy people could be saving lives. I will never understand how British people lap up this inequality as though it’s a fairytale.

I truly hope she recovers quickly and fully. However the irony is not lost that she (understandably) begs for privacy for herself and her family, while her in laws were hounded out of the country after they did similar. The Princess of Wales is not at fault for any of this - the palace policy makers are. That includes the late Queen and the current King.
