Today I tried so it’s brilliant scent
Absolute masterpiece of a scent in my opinion. A very natural and realistic smelling rose accord, the chocolate is detectable but not overpowering or overly sweet. I also get a little bit of oud as well, or at least it smells like it. Might be the labdanum mixing with the other notes that's giving it that kind of smell though. Incredible performance as well. Absolute perfection and worth every penny. One of the best, if not the best rose-based fragrances on the market today.

I'm waiting for a small decant of Tabac Rose and i never heard of a rose tobacco combo before. I can't think what this combination would smell like, but i hope the rose note is not synthetic.
On second thoughts Tobacco Rose by Papillon comes to mind and that is really classy and authentic!

Sotn BDK Tabac Rose
I blind bought this one and wasn’t impressed after first getting nose on it, especially since I feel you have the best I depth review and breakdown on this fragrance, hands down!!
But low and behold, this beauty is divine brother lol! I tend to lean more towards masculine scents, but open minded to the softer feminine frags if it’s constructed well. This one checks all the boxes for me, in other words, I have no complaints.
The lemon in the opening (traces in the dry down also) helps liven and wakes this fragrance up, The chocolate note adds depth and darkness that compliments the rose. The tobacco I get more in the dry down, and i feel as it adds more structure and character to this scent!
Long story short, I think I’m 😍 ❤️ 💕 lol…

You know how you can tell when CJ is serious about a Fragrance? He'll have the full bottle. When he's just reviewing or doesn't care for a scent he'll usually just have a sample. Good stuff! I have to buy a sample.

But if it's something that's been out for a little while, and he likes it. He'll normally have the full bottle and not just a sample. At least that's what I've noticed.

More masculine or fem?
For me this fragrance is disjointed and strange. I blind bought it and dislike the opening. I will give it its own wear before I fully decide but I think BDK make kinda weird fragrance. I also own Gris Charnel and that has an off-putting note that is unfortunately inextricable from that good soft part. It’s the same here! A weird note! So I am unsure. Luckily for me in the same haul I got Dusita Fleur de Lalita!!!! So stoked. Now THAT is beautiful.
I know I’ve got to get a bottle. Rouge smoking has nothing on tabac rose 🤯
