I own this perfume. I don’t smell either Rose or Tobacco. It does smell sweet nice, a very mild chocolate note being the most salient note. I don’t get patchouli in the fry down either. This is a n extremely well blended perfume to my nose where individuals notes, except for the chocolate, are well blended so as to lose their individual notes to the totality of the final scent. It is elegant and nice small wing, no doubt, but again, to my nose, the individual notes don’t stand by themselves. It sit very close to my skin and the Duration is rather short, about 4 hours on me. Projection, about 1 hour.

Omg I love that shirt! That bottle is gorgeous and of course BDKs are bangers. I’m a fan of tobacco and have been snatching up all the tobacco frags I can. Have you tried Matthew Meleg’s Golden Gai? Omg it’s heaven. If I can find your address I’ll send you a decant or the actual sample (I bought a bottle). You know what I miss? Your boozy reviews with the lovely ladies. I’ve been so into this house recently. My favorite one so far is Wood Jasmin, sweet-smokey plummy oud. My favorite part of this review was your statement regarding its comparison to Oud Bouquet. That’s what stopped me from looking into it initially, but you cleverly said it’s a fragrance all on its own 😌

I like the fact that you stated that this isn't a clone of Oud Bouquet. I've seen this comparison several times which made me do a comparison. There's something in Tabac Rose that is very tart which separates it from Oud Bouquet. Great review Carlos!!!!

First off YAY CARLOS for reviewing Tabac Rose !! 😍😍🙌 So underrated from BDK imo. Loved the review, though ironically we have a few differences of opinion! Hahah. I find this a bit sweeter in the opening and more fruity & complex than Oud Bouquet, and to me that makes it more feminine leaning - though overall pretty unisex for sure! And in only really get the chocolate in patchouli in the dry down - which i think is where this fragrance truly shiiiines the most. Either way! Love, love Tabac Rose and enjoyed seeing someone appreciate it as much as i do 😁🎉

I want to love rose but everything I try is always so powdery unless it’s weighed down by oud. I like tobacco much more than oud, so this seems like it could be the one for me. I love tobacco fragrances, I love a rose fragrance that smells spicy or true-to-rose, but I haven’t heard of roses and tobacco being combined...
