I had only six weeks of sewing in 7th grade and all training I have had are my Mom and the wonderful tutorials I catch on UA-cam. Thank you! Oh, I was good at science and math so I was shuffled to all the science and math classes that were available. I always sewed.
Thank you so much, Lucy, for this brilliant tutorial! I did this in school dressmaking class in the mid 60s (yellow linen) but couldn’t remember the intricacies especially of sandwiching the front pieces between the back main and lining fabrics !! So looking forward to trying it out again on a 2024 waistcoat in summer blue … loving all your videos 😊

This is the way my teacher taught me back in 1968, great reminder Lucy.

Very clever, thx for sharing this technique! 😊
Thank you Lucy. Does it matter the fabric isn’t overlocked?
Lovely tutorial
Would you need to serge any of the seams. Great veer !
Hi Lucy, do you recommended doing the faux welt pockets before or after the lining?
Which pattern did you use or does it not matter?
At what point do you add the waist ties?
xXX👍👍👍
