On July 16, 1969, the trio lifted into space aboard the Apollo 11 and then entered a lunar orbit. By the next day, Armstrong and Aldrin, aboard the lunar module Eagle, had separated from Collins who remained in the command module.
And on July 20, 1969, Americans and the staff at Apollo Mission Control in Houston, Texas, watched and listened in amazement as Armstrong and then Aldrin placed their feet on the moon's surface.

New rover cannot go 6 miles without a recharge. Apollo rover used to drive up to 6 miles per day with 2 men, radio and video equipment, luna rockes (1,000 lbs + according to the NASA flier at the time) but battery was a single use.

The flag has a rod through the top to keep it outright. It really only actually "waves" when the astronauts have been swinging it around, otherwise it just sits there with the same wrinkles for hours.

The flag isn't "blowing in the wind". It's flopping around as the astronauts move the flag pole around in their hands. If you actually watch any of the footage, on any of the missions, it "blows" as it's handled, then stops moving a minute or so later, and sits perfectly still for the rest of the scene.
I have never seen any footage in which the flag on the moon "literally blew as though there was air". And I have seen a lot of footage.

The lack of atmosphere would actually allow the flag to keep moving subtly for a few minutes after being handled. The idea that while faking a moon landing in a wind-less studio, they added a fan to simulate moon wind is laughable!

There is one movie clip where the flag moves just a tad when an astronaut bounces past. The flag appears to be untouched. But there are a variety of explanations for that.
The problem is the people who say the flag moving means there was wind, don't care if there is an explanation. They don't care if the moon landings were real or not. Imagine your favorite sports team is at an away game and you hear a home team fan shout at your players. "You guys suck!" Would yo go and try and reason with this person? The blackhole was big and doesn't need high render quality therefore they only need to take a pick of the main part of the blackhole (the event horizon) that's the equivalent of a phone zooming on a person yet blurred.

I see a number of inconsistencies with the Flag. The flag that is shown on earth before it went to the moon when held on the pole is hanging flat as it should with no waving. While the flag on the moon clearly is luffing in what appears to be a breeze although there is no wind on the moon. But more important, look at the size of both flags. The one of the moon is clearly smaller. The other thing I noticed if that if there was no room on the Lunar module for even a flag, how did the lunar rover get to the moon? If there is no room for a flag, then clearly there is no room for a dune buggy.
The waving of the flag on the moon is becuase they were moving it alot to get it in place causing it to flap alot, many people have put a flag in a vacuum chamber and proven that it does move when moved around alot. for the size, you do realize how huge the space suits are, the have over 100lbs of equipment on them, so of course the flag is going to look smaller against the space suits than it did against a normal human outfit. And for the lunar rover fitting, it is becuase they designed a mechanism to fold the lunar rover in on itself to fit in the lander.
@@derpy7801 I don't care what kind of suit you put on, the length of your arms when stretched out do not increase. The flag on earth looks to be about 5-6 feet long and the one of the moon is 3 ft max. The lunar module did not change in size across all the Apollo missions. If they cannot fit a flag inside of the module, there is no way that rover was ever inside.
@@boberwin583 You clearly have not done very much research on this topic. The deployment of the LRV from its storage bay on the LM was filmed on the lunar surface and this footage is easily available on YT, the National Archives or on various NASA historical websites. Take care.
@@boberwin583 LOL, please do some research. They used 2 different sizes of flags across the six missions, and lord know how many on Earth. And the Lunar module did change size for Apollo 15-17 used a J class LM called the Extended Lunar Module or ELM. Nobody said they could not fit a flag inside the LM! They were just smart enough not to try to descend a ladder in a space suit holding a flag!

I didn't know why nasa fanboys don't understand that they are not in a position to know all the answers, but make up shytt anyway.

The flag shows large oscillations only when the astronauts are moving it and stops oscillating when they move away. This is simply because objects move when energy is supplied to them. The very small movements later in the EVA are when astronauts pass close to it and are most likely electrostatic effects. Take care.

1 the astronauts have suits that are warmed, and the inside of the crew module is insulated
2 they opened the parachute after the reentry where things would burn down, but since the landing pod has a heatshield it doesnt burn down and the resistance of the air slows it down more the closer you get to ground
3 NASA are planning new moon missions at the moment, but until now there was no reason to go back to the moon

Apparently nasa destroyed the technology to go then destroyed and taped over all the telemetry data and according to nasa scientist working on the Orion project, they have to figure out how to deal with the van allen radiation belts before we can send people through that region of space. Uh what? We already sent people on 7 round trips and none of them suffered any ill effects from that dangerous radiation. None of the 1960s tech had any issues going through it either. So what’s there to figure out? Just use same materials they used 50 years ago and all is well. But we both know they won’t because now it’s to easy for people to call them on their bs. That’s why it keeps getting postponed. And if you believe we have a remote control vehicle on “mars” your just a gullible little person who would believe anything.
