      im disapointed that push 2 does not have a "suite" of ready made chord , so we can directly play them ...yep

    It has aftertouch!? *-* I wasnt able to find out about this anywhere on any online shop that sells Push 2. Amazing!

      +Valentin Brunn Push 1 also has aftertouch. And there is a cool plugin by subaqueousmusic that helps to map it to any parameter.

    its kind of bumming me out how aftertouch is mentioned but not explained. how the heck did he do that

    • @C1c4da
      @C1c4da 5 років тому +5

      okay so velocity is how hard you strike a pad and then as you keep pressure on the pad either pressing harder or softer is what is called aftertouch
      So if you have something triggered by after touch then as you keep your hand on the pads you can wiggle them around harder or softer back and forth to trigger whatever it is youre having triggered by the aftertouch

    Does anyone know if there is a feature where you can play chords and melodies together?

    • @chrisiceheart

      my guess is that it's required that they're played separately ☹

      The actual Midi Effect for chords allows you to set chords on your own.

      You could learn the chords on the chromatic setting.

    What's the combo for minor chords, then?

      Once you select the root note, you select the scale, major, minor, and more. The default is C major.

    "Playing chords is easy on Push" Is it? Seems very unnatural to me in comparison to using a keyboard.
    Ableton really dropped the ball here. It's not intuitive at all in comparison to say, playing chords on an mpc. This is like learning a new language in comparison.

      a way easier language.... it is what is.
