They need a "smart chords" option, like in roli studio
im disapointed that push 2 does not have a "suite" of ready made chord , so we can directly play them ...yep
how do you access aftertouch in push 2 menu?
It has aftertouch!? *-* I wasnt able to find out about this anywhere on any online shop that sells Push 2. Amazing!
+Valentin Brunn Push 1 also has aftertouch. And there is a cool plugin by subaqueousmusic that helps to map it to any parameter.
its kind of bumming me out how aftertouch is mentioned but not explained. how the heck did he do that
okay so velocity is how hard you strike a pad and then as you keep pressure on the pad either pressing harder or softer is what is called aftertouch
So if you have something triggered by after touch then as you keep your hand on the pads you can wiggle them around harder or softer back and forth to trigger whatever it is youre having triggered by the aftertouch
@@C1c4da Thanks for the straight forward explanation
Does anyone know if there is a feature where you can play chords and melodies together?
my guess is that it's required that they're played separately ☹
How would you play jazz chord progressions with push..ie maj7 min7 dom7 dim chords? Is there a way to program chords?
The actual Midi Effect for chords allows you to set chords on your own.
You could learn the chords on the chromatic setting.
What's the combo for minor chords, then?
Once you select the root note, you select the scale, major, minor, and more. The default is C major.
No clue for us on how to get aftertouch going....? lol
THKS!
How can i setup aftertouch? I can't find it anywhere
Hi there, please refer to this article from our Knowledge Base to find out how to set up Aftertouch: bit.ly/3NHxsKm We hope this helps!
can you help me please
Hi there, what do you need help with?
Any danger of Ableton actually telling us HOW to actually do this?!.... I guess not.
it's more intuitive than piano chords lmao
"Playing chords is easy on Push" Is it? Seems very unnatural to me in comparison to using a keyboard.
Ableton really dropped the ball here. It's not intuitive at all in comparison to say, playing chords on an mpc. This is like learning a new language in comparison.
a way easier language.... it is what is.
Its not pronounced para-meter , it's purram-eter :pedant:
*Ackchtyually,* it's pronounced _puh-ram-stop it. Get some help._
