China's growth may be slowing down and political tensions building, but is that not reflected in price valuations on Chinese domiciled companies? The cyclically adjusted price to earnings ratio of Chinese companies is low relative to its recent past. The guest may no mention of expected return of the Chinese stock market, just speculated on political and macro economics. You can still make money in declining or slowing economies if the prices are low enough to justify the risk.
@@JL-on4gkChina is my largest exposure. I am cutting my US & Japan exposure. I expect to further increase my China and Southeast Asia exposure in 2024.
Consuelo, not Consuela. I hear a great number of your interviewees mispronounce your name. I think it would be entirely appropriate to say to your guest before beginning recording, "My name is Consuelo with an "O", Consuelo!" 🙂:-)
War risk? Wake up! Vietnam, Korea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, genocide in Gaza, which country is in all these wars, and Unconstitutionally, without approval from Congress? War risk? Stop being delusional.
China's economy maybe slowing down but it's still doing twice as good as the U.S and better than the rest of the world. With so many western countries in recession, imports has decreased, this is why China is upgrading it's industries to high tech.
That is optimistic….and polyanna China is a spiraling down economy and they have a huge real estate bubble which will explode in this one man run autocratic country
Excellent!!!
Great insight 👍

Isn’t good that the CEO of Evengrande is under investigation? Or u prefer the outcome of GFC in 2008 with no one persecuted ?
Why pick China if you can get same expected return in other places without that much political and war risk?

Not fact based.
In the next crypto bull market, will China come out of left field and invest heavily in Bitcoin?
Absolutely not. Sh*tcoin is banned in China and it won't be cheating the Chinese people, unlike the scammers in America.
All he is doing is saying what EVERYONE is saying. Not a way to make $$$.
