The rug making video really inspired me. It reminded me how much I miss making things with my hands, and especially when you made the frame for Sylvia it was like a wake up call. I've been at quite a loss creatively for a long while now, but this has really kicked something into gear. Thank you for documenting all your projects, I've been subscribed for about 12 years now and what a beautiful corner of the internet you've made.
Not only is Pj is professional yapper but also rambler! I'm so here for it, love the insight the behind the curtain talks about your videos. I've wanted to make a rug since I watched your video, perhaps I will actually try it!
Pj have you ever tried risograph printing!!? I see the riso prints behind you and I thought it would suit your work soo nicely. The prep is similar to screen printing and is really straightforward- I did a bit at uni and the actual printers have cool retro 80s Japanese vibes which I thought you’d also appreciate!!
I love you talking about your process. As an aspiring artist it’s a relief to see someone I look up to normalizing how hard picking up a new skill is. But I also love how encouraging you are about trying new things and getting better at stuff. It really helps keep me positive when my attempts don’t go how I want so thank you ❤
Your little ramble at the end reminded me of me. For years I've had the same with 21:21, 17:17 etc. I also make a game of the time by occasionally Googling it, so if it's 17:21, I search "what happened in 1721?" Yes, I'm weird, but it keeps me entertained. More importantly, the rugs are amazing. I'm not a rug kind of person and have no interest in making any, though I do love designing cartoon characters.
i get so many rug tufting videos on my fyp on tiktok, it looks so fun and so satisfying i want to have a bash so badly!ive always really enjoyed how when you want to do something...you just do it! why not?! excellent vibes to live by
I was doomscrolling and feeling pretty unhappy with the world, and then I saw your video, and I felt better. The energy you bring to this silly website is lovely. ❤
lovely video pj! i especially liked the bit about comparing yourself. i’m the same and it made me happy to see you had a moment of “wait, maybe i’m good too!” with this. it made me very excited for you. i see you really loved tufting and i hope to see more of it from you! and perhaps more of these videos, this was so nice!!
i love videos like this! hearing you talk about the struggles and joys of your creative pursuits is super helpful and inspiring :) please make more like this :0
Thanks for this video, pj! I loved learning more about rug making in this video and the one on your main channel. It’s always cool when you try out different art mediums, and I love how your rugs turned out.
PJ thanks for always being so encouraging! I actually fulfilled my dream of doing pottery in March just because your videos looked SO fun 😅 I might try this too! I am not very talented with artsy stuff and always felt this disqualified me from trying new things because I would just mess it up, but you taught me there is no messing up, just learning 🫶🏻
I thought I was subbed to this channel and at some point I got unsubbed? Am I losing my mind that maybe this channel got hacked at some point? I don’t remember 😖
I'm subbed and didn't see the original video and I don't know how I missed it. Time to fix that now! Well... after I finish watching this one. 😁 - edit - 🫥 oops... it turned out that I actually had it downloaded already as a to-watch and hadn't gotten caught up yet. I just wanted to own up to my mistake so it didn't seem like another subscribe button issue.
thank you for the chill video kickypj, i vote for more rants about projects that didn't make it into the final video!
CLICKBAIT!!!! it was my belief that you actually turned her into a rug
this is an incredibly charming video. i’d love to see you talk further on most videos when you like!

thank you for explaining some background and context to the rug video! I really enjoyed it and it's nice to know what the process was like!

I like hearing your behind the scenes thought processes, I enjoyed this video
Y’all DON’T look up “I Turned My Cat into a Rug” on UA-cam unless you want to see a lot of poorly and/or horrifically taxidermied cats 😭
it is reassuring to know that someone as talented as pj is also very very scatter brained like i am

hello
top 3 worrying youtube video titles
It's really beautiful 😸😸👏👏👏👏👏
something really jarring about someone saying 1337 as thirteen-thirty-seven
if you keep seeing the same number over and over, you could google the number and "angel number" to find out why...if that's your thing :p
