No need to be sorry or ashamed. there is just a group of people that always ruined it for everyone else. I worked with some brilliant Indian IT developers years ago. Then recently, I met a few (Indian) imposteurs that gave me a bad taste. I still know there are some magnificent Indian minds out there, but the latest waves are just ruining it for all Indians.

You can’t distance yourself just as this person can’t from the image of violence amongst Jamaicans in Canada. People who came also brought in a lot of money into the economy. It’s not their fault if there was no infrastructure to accommodate them. Change whatever, but stop pretending you are perfect.

Canada also had rules regarding foreign workers/students, and immigration...and then Trudeau happed, and turned this country into a fail communist experiment. Mass immigration of unvetted and in many cases criminal elements, scammers and basically unskilled welfare cases. Unfair business practices that restricted Canadian workers in favor of government subsidized Punjab's, to pay Jagmeet for his confidence votes to save Trudeau. Keeping a failed Trudeau government in power, to get millions of Singh's people here.

It’s the speed and the volume of the immigration. Housing can’t keep up, jobs can’t keep up and assimilation is almost impossible. This causes higher rental prices, lack of jobs and fear of sudden change. It’s down to greed of the government, municipalities and employers, who know they can abuse the system for their own means. The faucet needs to be turned off, the bucket emptied and the immigration loopholes fixed, before we open up again.

That is overwhelming true. However some changes have been made with the Chinese in the last couple of years from complaints. A few grocery stores started hiring different people. I was shocked when it happened at mandarin 😂. As for Indians it will be difficult as I believe they grow their business by limiting to their own. this way and it's easier to abuse your own. The government bears the most responsibility in this, they heard the complaints but ignore them. If Indians weren't the preferred immigrants for decades every immigrant would be getting hate now.

I need the black community specifically to understand because I think people are getting things a bit confuse as, I'm Canadian born black Jamaican heritage. We are talking about Canadians VS temporary foreign workers and people coming into the country under deceptit practices to work in Canada and take jobs away from Canadians. Canadian does not mean white. Canadian does not mean black. It means anybody who is born on the soil. Or immigrated here the proper way. The discussion on the Indians doesn't apply to Canadian. Born Indians and Canadian Indian who immigrated here the proper way this application is Canadian VS temporary foreign workers in which a large swath of the T.F.W's and people who came in under nefarious reasons, pretending to be visiting the country and then overstayed getting a work permit. And now are here illegally working for many years, taking jobs away from Canadians. That is who this discussion is about. So I think because Indians have never been under such a microscope thus year in the media and social media The ones who are citizens or born here are getting in their feelings and just like how black people have to suck it up when we get called racial slurs. And other derogatories and uneducated by the Indian community and other anti-black cultures and we just have to move forward and do our life. They need to learn that right now. They're in their feelings. And they are all hurt saying oh I don't like being painted with one broad brush. We'll neither do black people, but we just have to suck it up and do us. So they just have to suck it up and do that too if they're here and . They're not a temporary foreign worker or they're not engaging in any of the anti-social behaviors. Then the comments don't apply to them when discussing Indians. But they need to hurry up and get out of their feelings. and sir, don't confuse your experience with Indians who treat you with respect. With the community as a collective, the Indian culture as a collective are anti-black, and they operate under a cast system. Based on how much melanine is in your skin is how they will treat you better or disrespectfully. Does that apply to every single Indian person? Of course, not nothing is a monolith. But you're confusing outliers and a small percentage of their community who treat people like humans. With the entire community that is not the case. The Indian community as a collective society is anti-black and within that society. There are outliers, but they are a tiny percent of the entire population. So you don't have to treat Indian people badly. This comment is about how they mostly took advantage of our open immigration system and flooded our country. And now the demographics are off and Canadians can't find work. Because employers can pay them cheaper than what they would pay a Canadian.

I am concerned that over 80% of students may be undocumented, which could impact future access to jobs and education due to prioritization and potential scams and criminal activities. As a native-born citizen, I welcome immigrants and international students from diverse regions. However, concentrating one group in a single area has led to increased drug-related issues over the past five years, warranting caution when interacting with immigrants who may prioritize their own community.

Ontario's colleges and universities have said that the federal government's cap on international students is taking a toll on the higher education sector as some schools face growing deficits, layoffs and program cuts. These investments come directly from Indians. Also Indians aren’t really interested in taking low wage low skilled jobs , most of the times they’re left with no choice. That’s the state of most new immigrants here. I see a lot of people who have been here own businesses, work in skilled trades as well.

@ they wouldn’t gatekeep if the state of the Canadian economy was good, which only goes to show Indians are as affected as anyone. If they had plenty of job opportunities they wouldn’t hoard it for themselves . I’ve been here for 4 years , I’ve lived with Indians and other races. The job situation is not good here. My family back home has supported me most of my time here, and I also know of many fellow Indians (students ) in the same boat as me. I’ve been employed on and off, there’s no permanence of job. There’s no nepotism , based on race, unless you’re relatives or work in a family business of Indians. (Ofc they would help their blood over strangers first). Tim Hortons isn’t an Indian owned business , Indians could be managing it or working there. And the reason why you see many working there is directly correlated to the population, higher population- higher job applications - higher probability of seeing an Indian working there. Simple!

India and China could lose 100 million people to other countries and it would make no significant dent on their economies.
At one point in Canada's immigration history, one incoming group overlapped another. e.g. the Jews arrived before the Muslims but today the muslims seem to be more vociferous due to modern day events.
Canada pretty much enabled same immigrants to create their own neighbourhoods, e.g. in Toronto - Greek, Portuguese, Italians, Iranians, Jamaicans, Chinese, Indians.
Here is an example of demographic change of the makeup of the town of Markham, ON (source: Statistics Canada):
    1996:
    Total population: 173 383
    Chinese - 25% - 43 280
    South Asian - 9.3% - 16 035
    Other - 65.8% - 114 068
    2006 (10 years later):
    Total population: 261 573
    Chinese - 34.1% - 89 300
    South Asian - 17.2% - 44 995
    Other - 48.6% - 127 278

@fjohn8985 Some of these neighbourhoods were created by pure racisim, by those who moved out if one person moved in an area when a home went up for sale. In the UK in the 50/60s they complained about the smell of what people cooked and too many moving in as many lived in one house on arrivals. Immigrants aren't responsible for all areas heavily populated by them. But you will go where you feel comfortable and welcomed by people that look like you.

Thanks for the video. You were on point with 98% of everything, you said. I 100% agree and concur wirh wat yoy said. The only parts that I would say you're incorrect is in regards to why people focus more on the Indian population and are more irritated by that specific group as opposed to the other cultures that came in under the T.F.W's & student work permit program, there are videos, online of the head of the IRCC and the minister of immigration from the liberal party sitting before the immigration commission in Parliament, where the numbers were revealed on how many immigrants came into the country under each culture that shifted our demographics, which we know was obviously more of an Indian look and the numbers are a 130,000 plus Africans, 180,000 plus Chinese and this is between the period of 2022 to 2024 May and the Indian number in tgat same time frame was 906,000 in 2 years. So I think you can see the brutally wide gap and the elephant in the room with that. So that's why the demographics of the country shifted so dramatically where you thought you were in Mumbai India? People are not stupid. Canadians are very smart. Our anger is towards people in that community. Who scam their way into the country and then are making a grift off of our tax dollars that are limited. The government also made the environment perfect, where now employers are able to hire T.F.W's and illegals at half the cost of hiring a Canadian. That's why you can't apply to a Tim. Horton, that's why you can't apply to a most retail envionments. That's why you can't apply to Walmart if you don't have an Indian last name because they know that there's a higher chance that you are not a T.F.W you. This isn't about Indians. Who are Canadian born or Indians who immigrated to the country correctly and are Canadian citizens? When people talk about Indians, they're talking about. Anybody who is here temporarily or who came as a student and then a running a grift, quitting school and filing for asylum where they received $254 a day because there's no space in the. Refugee/asylum hotel that works out to about a little under $8000 a month and $81,000 a year. They are getting tax-free. And they also get a work permit to work so they're making lots of money. Sending that money home to build a house there buying houses and cars here, Not Canadians can afford cause they can't get jobs. Are unemployment is sitting at 1.5 million documented and creeping towards 2 million documented. Unemployed, then we can't forget. People like myself we're undocumented unemployed. 3 years we're probably at another half. A million and so our unemployment rate is insane because these people are coming and taking jobs and being put over us because they can be paid cheaper. While the cost of living is just spiraling upwards, there's not enough housing stock. We can only build 245,000 houses per year. Yet Trudo has been an average crushing in a little. Over a million people per year since 2015. Do the math there's a deficit and that's why rents are so high. So these students making fake documents coming to fake schools here in Canada. Quitting, as soon as they land going to the asylum office, getting $254 a day for hotel and food and other expenses. We know they're renting a place with probably 1015 other friends and barely spending 254 a week or a month. To all that other money is tax-free in their pocket to send home by high in cars while Canadians are struggling. And that's what the hostility or the animosity is, but please understand it's towards TF. W's, but we can't CTF. W. They don't wear it on their forehead or a T-shirt, so the. Whole community does get painted with one broad brush. But understand you as a black person. Get painted with one broad brush and mostly from your friend's communities. Indians Filipinos, Chinese white arabs. They paint you with a hostile racist brush of your a bad person in a criminal and gonna harm women. So you have to let your friends know. Unfortunately, that's just the cost of. You know, when some of your people misbehave or take something away from a citizen of Canada that because they can't tell until you speak or see your paper. S that you're a Canadian and technically. This doesn't apply to them. They are going to get broad brush and it's just something they're gonna have to figure out a way to deal with what they can't moan about it. And you was a black person that just had to do your life. While these new immigrants come here and try to get you fired from a job you know. Call you all racial slurs and treat you disrespectfully. Not wanting to serve you or throwing your food at you. When you go in order it, so you have to deal with all that. So you just have to teach them how to deal with all of that and just say it is what it is. I deal with it all the time, every time. I leave my 4 walls. That would be my advice to you for your friends instead of taking their side. And oh, they're not used to being treated this way. Well, at some point somebody's gonna fall to the bottom of the pile and right now they're at the bottom. They just got it. Suck it up and live their life cause they just need to know. Okay, I'm not ATF. W, I'm not a student trying to get asylum money on taxpayers backs. But the winning is not going to get sympathy. So she's from the black community who's been dealing with hostility from their community and others for decades. But it's their job to deal with those unsavory individuals and force the government to get them out because they're ruining it for them.

My question is, why officials are accepting asylum applications from Indians , when it is a open information that there are no reasons to apply, and these people received an student visa after signing a form saying, that they would return to their country after their education . If they sign that form, it shows there are no problems that prevent them to return to their country.
I see these people say That Canadians took land from aboriginals , so that Canadians have no right to reject them coming in . Another comment is Canada has shortage of workers. Why do they bother ? We have a use less Govt . That is the problem.

Canada just made it too easy for the bad actors to come into play.
The National Post posted a recent interview with the current immigration minister (5 immigration minister changes were made in the Trudeau administration) indicating the flaws in the recent immigration policy. Unfortunately, the backlash may cost them the next election but you already have the problem to deal with for the few years.
The fact that even colleges are closing some campuses shows that it was more of a money-grab and deal with the problems later.
You may also want to follow the H1B visa talk in the USA, now that Musk has aligned with Trump and is flexing his zero emotional intelligence.

@@such_kna9041 Unfortunately, the way the refugee and asylum mandate is written. They have to follow that mandate accept their application form and provide them with abiut $254 a day. living stipend, even if they suspect the application is fraudulent, they must get their day in court. And that is what the Indians figured out quickly and started sharing this information amongst each other from 2022 so asylum applications exploded from well under a 100,000 to about 270,000 plus applications as od Dec 2024, which clogs up the system that it's not even designed to deal well with 50,000 applications a year. So they know this is going to make it take longer for the process, so they'll receive a total of $81,000 a year, waiting for their day in court when they'll be told they don't qualify, but at the end of the day by the time the 2 years is up they made over $160,000 And they get a work permit so they can working on top of that money and block a Canadian from a job.. But just a few weeks ago the federal government claims they realize the students abusing the program and that they're now going to try to make a separate division just to deal with students applications to expedite the process. But even if they get $254 a day for half a year, it's still too much money. Canadians are struggling to find jobs. They're becoming homeless. They can't even get anywhere near that amount of money. As a stipend from the federal government as welfare I think works out to $35 a day? So just imagine you lose your home cause you can't get a job? Because all these people have flooded the country, they're taking the jobs because employers can pay them cheap hourly wage. Cause they're temporary. And then you find out that we're receiving $254 a day and you're receiving $35 a day living in a tent somewhere in Canada during this cold winter season. And you've never been homeless before. That's what I think about but the indians specifically figured that out. Share the information clogged up our asylum system that it now takes 2 years to hear their case. And then realize oh this is student. They signed a contract that says they will go home and that they have the funds to survive, But at the end of the day, they've made a gift off of Canadian taxpayers. So this reality to me sits solely at the feet of the federal government, the Trudeau government and the fact that they didn't have instruments in place when they saw the spike in asylum cases from students to. Quickly make modifications, they just default to the honor system that oh, you must be telling the truth when every Indian person says there's nothing happening in India that you would file for asylum and that these people do not even qualify and should be rejected immediately, so they do it because unfortunately, they have to follow the. Mandate. So that they don't discriminate, and that's what the Indians figured out. So yeah $81,000 a year they'll get for possibly 2 years. Wow, if only a Canadian who are homeless could get half of that amount they'd be able to survive sonewhat and not have to live on the streets. Oh Canada 🇨🇦

In regards to the number of immigrants per group, the Canadian government has given preferential treatment to Indians for decades. It actually was very difficult to come to Canada and easier to go to America for black people. Indians are viewed as having better educated workforce so this made them attractive. Of course there was a lot of fraud starting with the driving schools but the government liked the fast money. What I want to say it's not just fraud, the government sought them out.

I do not live in Canada, nor do I have ties to India. I have been following the immigration mess there, and it is a complicated and sad situation. Good immigrants getting gaslit by a couple of bad immigrants, and perhaps the media's focus on anything that is bad news (bad news sells nowadays). Part of the problem also lies with Canadian employers who give these low skilled jobs to cheap foreign labour so as to benefit from short terms gains (I did see a CBC report unpack this problem in greater detail). I think it is sad that many immigrants stick together and are not open to trying out new things and meeting new people. If I were to move, I would avoid my birthplace country people so I can get a shot at "being uncomfortable". How do you expect to grow and learn if you are not challenging yourself - I would have thought that part of immigration is also getting used to new ways of doing things and allowing parts of yourself to evolve with the new setting.

My fellow Canadian, I'm a descendant of settlers to Canada who arrived more than 500 years ago. That said, we are all immigrants in some way or another but I want to applaud you and your video for bravely stating the unfortunate reality. Even though as Canadians we tend to be quiet and more "polite" than we should be sometimes, please don't ever apologize or feel reluctant to simply to tell the truth as you see it. What is happening to our wonderful country is grotesque and a complete tragedy. We've all worked together so hard to build a nation and a society to be an example for the world and regrettably there are those with such little respect, common courtesy and civilized decency to not appreciate and realize that. It's all very degusting, insulting and truly sad. You've made my day better with your words, your sincerity and your honesty. Thank you very much and I wish you the very best.

You are taking out one community who have faced racism before you came to Canada. Learn more about inclusive Canada a few years back when immigrants were treated like shit. Indians are just 5% of the total population and worried about them instead of the system broken. It is the Canadian government's responsibility to check illegal immigration not Indian community. International students came with a huge fee they worked hard to be part of the Canadian system. Peaceful Protest is the right of anyone in Canada. You have an issue with that, too. It is the failure of the government. And its policies to control illegal schools and colleges opened in Canada and issue visas for that. Its duty of government to control fraud and not to blame others.

Also, if the students from India tried to integrate into the culture people would not be complaining so much, but they do not. Also, it is a student visa, not PR. It’s disappointing to see Indians consistently painted in a negative light. It infuriates me to witness one immigrant group targeting another, as this only serves to divide us further from our African brothers and sisters. The presence of Indians in entry-level jobs is a reflection of our significant numbers, our proficiency in English, and our adaptability.
If we feel wronged by the system, we have every right to voice our concerns. You are well aware that someone in your position would not qualify for Express Entry, as the bar has been raised significantly with high CRS scores due to competition.
If you want to address bad actors, why not also speak about the Indians who fall victim to racism and xenophobia? Balanced discussions are essential if we are to foster mutual respect and understanding.

If even Indians are agreeing with the points bring raised here, I think there must be some validity to them. Excluding other cultures, not employing anyone other than Indian, is not Canadian. It is an insult to Canadian values. And protesting to the government that has given you opportunities in life...very entitled. As for Indian parents protesting against Christmas being celebrated? These are the kinds of things that will offend others.

The reason why racism towards Indians is not a thing is because that is societal. It's not coming from the government or institutions. Or else you wouldn't see them in all these jobs? So you're talking about having your feelings hurt by? People commenting on the elephant in the room. I know.
That Indian people who are born in the country. Or who are citizens by the correct manner are feeling uncomfortable. Being painted with one brush, but you refuse to discuss the elephant in the room. Indian culture as a collective is an anti-black culture. You operate under a cast system which was created by your colonizer. The white man that you aspire to be like and be close to But as a collective community are hostile towards black people who never colonized India. Yes, the hostility and disrespect. Your community shows here in Canada towards the black community. Is unsettling But fact is your community and other anti. Black communities like to paint all black. people with one broad brush that we are all criminals, were all unintelligent and so on, and I say those statements because they've been said to me by Indians. So just in case you think I'm being discriminatory. That happens to us, and we just have to move forward and do what we do. And I think what Indians need to learn who are born in Canada or immigrated here are the correct way you need to just suck it up and just do what you do and know who you are. As a person, the way the black community has to when we endure anti blackness from your culture and other cultures around the world and get out of your feelings. The way we have to get out of our feelings with the anti blackness and racist comnents and actions from your community. We experienced daily from people in your community and other anti. Black communities and stop whining that you don't want to be painted with one brush when you turn around as a collective community, maybe not you. And you paint all black people under one beush, you just have to suck it up and do your life. If you're not behaving like them or you're Canadian Indian. These comments don't really apply to you. We're talking about temporary foreign workers. If you're Indian and you're Canadian and you're born here our comment about Indians does not apply to you. This is the thing that Indian Canadians are getting mixed up. We're talking about the elephant in the room. Your community flooded our country. And was able to get more people in than every other culture. In case you were unaware, let me drop a stat on you. 906,000 Indians came in between the year 2022 and 2024. Only a 180,000 Chinese came in between that time frame and only a 135,000 Africans came in between that time. Frame, all other cultures are well under a 100,000 in that time frame. Do you as an Indian see the elephant in the room? Get out of your feelings and just say yeah, a lot of bad actors from my country took advantage of the system. And came into the country and made it look different different and they're not really being respectful to the natives and other cultures here. But you gotta get out of your feelings. About being painted with one brush. Canadians are not stupid, they know not every Indian person. Is scamming? not every Indian person is one of these individuals. We're talking about Indians who are here. As students are temporary, foreign worker or came here pretending to be visiting the country and. We're able to get a work permit and now are here illegally working if you are Indian and you're born here. Or you came here as a citizen properly. Technically, we are not actually talking about you. This is Canadians VS temporary individuals and people who came here under dishonest visiting reasons. But we don't see your status on your shirt on your forehead. So sadly you will get painted with. One brush and just like how black people have to suck it up when people from your culture and others are anti social with other cultures and anti. Black and paint us with one brush as criminals and uneducated. And unintelligent, just gotta. Do you even when that stereotype doesn't apply? So that's one thing I'd have to say for you. And fellow Canadian Indians get out of your feelings. Suck it up and just do you if you're not. One of those people who are temporary or engaging in anti- blackness. Then just do you, that's all you can do.
