These are all so awesome and helpful, thank you guys so much for posting these tutorials! I kinda wanna make an adventure map now with all these unique object manipulations lol
Just for an update, this actually cannot be done anymore using this method due to invisible blockers now being unable to set to normal physics. You could still do this of course with a small visible object such as a skull.
Hey FORGEHUB! I made a translation to spanish of this video on Amara (website for translating videos), I think you can see it so your viewers that talk spanish can understand it better.
That's brilliant! I tried doing it with barrels that fell off and exploded but couldn't figure anything out. Definetly using this in my maps in the future. Im curious: do you know what happens if the block gets stuck between the door closing? does it bash in the player's face? does it despawn?
+IrontMesdent I suspect it will just be pushed out of the way. You could experiment with giving the doors an extremely short window for their position reset to see them slam shut and possibly launch the block.
Great job on figuring this out. Its a okay workaround for a feature that should already be in forge :(

nice! But can it be done without the skull being reset back again after one second?
You just triggered me.
Clever trick. Thanks
these will go nicely in my ruined spaceship aesthetic walk through map. Once the forget freezing issue is fixed that is.

how come i cant set the invisible blocker to normal, was it changed in the update?
Is there a way to to script lights to turn on when a player enters a room?
do you have a new way to do this with the new update? or how to have doors open without a switch being toggled?

Could you show how to turn lights on and off (spawn and despawn) on a toggle switch, I tried it but can get the light to spawn back.
Can't*
