A rescue mirror is a good idea. Small suture pack. Ring cutter is really great to carry. Shock blanket. I have read some Medical Journal articles that say that quick clot was just as effective as regular bandages and direct pressure, I havent worked with quick clot myself though. Vionex packets, sinus rinse packets that can be used to flush the eyes, masks and goggles. Albuterol rescue inhaler, allergy and regular visine.
That is a nice kit. You might want to think of some advanced airway such as a set of king tubes. They are nice to have in case of a real emergency. You also might want to pick up a BVM, They are large but easier to use then a pocket mask.
A great bag. I will copy yours. You might consider adding a compact electronic wrist Blood pressure unit (~$50.00) or Sphygmanomameter, a stethyscope, and a cheap clip on finger Pulse/oximeter (~$80.00).
how about food savers bags? They will waterproof,protect, compact your items better. Like you Cotton rounds - put them in a food saver bag. I used a mag pouch for my bottles to keep them from being smashed and easy to get at. I like you vid. Great stuff;
What are you using to treat an inguinal area arterial bleed since a CAT T won't get up that high? SWAT T? Ever use an Abdominal Aortic Tourniquet? Ever use a pelvic sling to stabilize a pelvic fracture? Thanks for the video.
Great kit man! Wish I had one. Do you buy all those items yourself or being that you're a medic, you acquire some from time to time? Just curious because some of those items are quite expensive.
My trauma kit is mainly focused on bleeding I keep 2 6 inch Israeli bandages 1 12x30 trauma pad 5 abd pads 1 CAT tourniquet assorted gauze rolls and a package of quikclot thats just what I carry in my edc I don't have much medical training but I know how to use everything in it in a pinch. I am going for my EMT-B certification this summer so I can manage more serious things c spine airway and long bone fractures mostly. Good bag though I like it.

Would like to see your new First Aid Bag when you get it together. I need this too!
headlamp, lighter, needle, disposable single blade bic shaver, double use when breaking off the guard to slice and dig out or whatever.

Hi. Good bag. Shouldn't you throw in 1 or 2 emergency blankets / space blanket ?
instead of sterile water can you use purified water? and cool video

@ ladodgers.......I added some gear which would not have fit in the 5.11 bag. It has been repurposed for other uses. Thanks for watching.
