How to Collect Cultural Funds in Housing Society for Cultural Activities?

The housing society is not a profit-making body and can collect funds for cultural & recreational activities as this is one the society's objectives under Bye Law No 5(d). People don't not read & understand the Bye Law thoroughly, therefore misunderstandings happen in society and not knowing the Law is creating problems in housing society which go to Court, DDR & Co-Operative Court.Members of the housing society must read and know the society bye - law.
Bye - Law No. 5 (C): To raise funds for achieving the objects of the society;
Bye - Law No. 5 (d) : To undertake and provide for, on its own account or jointly with a cooperative or Other Institution Social, Cultural or Recreational activities;
As per Bye - Law 148 (iii): To allocate to a Common Welfare Fund, such part of the profit as the Annual Meeting of the General Body may determine, to be utilized in furtherance of the objects specified in the Bye-law No. 5(d).

Please ask them to provide GR where written there Majority can pass any thing in General Body.
Majority can pass any resolution under Bye-Law ,Rules and ACT
