- We spent 11 days in Japan this 2023. Our itinerary was packed and we did a lot of new things and explored new places. As I looked back, I decided to create my top 10 things we did on our trip :) Take a look at my list below:
10. Check Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo at night.
9. Our first Japanese castle visit: Kanazawa Castle, Kanazawa, Ishikawa.
8. Cat Temple visit: Gotokuji Temple in Setagaya, Tokyo.
7. Explore an outdoor museum in Hakone, Kanagawa.
6. Hike Mt. Takao summit in Tokyo.
5. Walk along hundreds of giant cedar trees in Togakushi, Nagano.
4. Ride the Hakone ropeway over the thermal vents of Owakudani, Hakone.
3. Sightseeing trip in Lake Ashi on a pirate ship.
2. Visit Ghibli Museum in Mitaka and Ghibli's Grand Warehouse in Nagakute, Aichi.
1. Explore the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and see and walk on snow for the first time.

Interesting trip. I hope you also visited kenrokuen in kanazawa, the park is just beside the castle and it's one of the most beautiful in Japan.
Yes we did visit Kenrokuen Garden too and 2 museums in Kanazawa :) I love the vibe of Kanazawa ❤️ Less crowded so you enjoy and relax more.
