A trip to Jogashima with a ride on the Mango Coloured Nijiiro Sakana Go boat giving underwater views and the wonderful Urari Marche for field as well as marine produce. Even lunch is included with the bargain Misaki Maguro Day Trip ticket. Also love the Hatonosu valley. Favourite day trip of all is the Nihon Minka En, perhaps one of the best places in Japan to go during Golden Week with extra activities but never over crowded.
I'm planning my first trip to japan so this vid is a god send. It would be greatly appreciated if you make more detailed ones regarding the popular destinations like Nikko and off the common path like Okinawa.
Thank you! my flight is in 12h😂I was actually planning just to do day trips around Tokyo instead of visiting the big cities for my first time in Japan, so this video was fate
Congrats on this great video! what do you think of the following trip planning. While staying in Tokyo I do a day trip to Kawagoe. And then I go stay in Yokohama. Frpm there I do a day trip to Kamakura and Enoshima. Then from Yokohama I go directly to Hakone and stay a few days there. From Hakone I do a day trip to Kawaguchiko . And finally leave Hakone to Osaka.
I am going to my 100th country in less than 2 days, but Japan remains number 1. After 3 trips, I am starting to realize it is where I am supposed to be.
@@learnaboutisa Yes Japan is my number 1 after more than 100 countries now. The country just has it all. People are welcoming, kind, helpful. Country is so safe. So much technology and infrastructure. Incredible cuisine (sushi is my favorite food). Amazing culture. So much of what I love comes from Japan, including anime, which shaped a lot of who I am today. Its just an endless list of things Japan has going for itself
This gives me such great ideas. Ive been many places around Tokyo perfecture. Fuji. Saitama. Totoro Forest. More places to come. I absolutely love this country. Totoro Forest near the Lions stadium is a must see dor Totoro and Ghibli fans. I took 3 trains from Shinjuku to get there. I think about 2 hours each way? Doesnt matter. It was the trip of a lifetime. It was like being transformed into the My Neighbor Totoro movie! 😍. Absolutely enchanting! Also can take a day trio to Nagoya and go see Mei and Satsuki's house and the new Ghibli theme park! It's a bit far. Plan for about 3 hours each way but how can you pass it up? it's a little closer from Osaka and Kyoto, which could be good day trip options albeit, again, distance by train is well over 2 hours. Tokyo Disneyland is amazing. Go see both parks. There's so much to see and do in this amazing country.
You should moe detailed videos regarding where to take the train ,prices ,etc. This is not enough . Most travellers will be wondering where to take the tyrains from and bus and number to take when there reach a certain destinations.
This video serves as more of an overview of the different day trips. We have dedicated videos for a lot of these destinations, which show prices, routes etc., in the 'Tokyo day trips' playlist on our channel 😊
Was planning some last minute day trips in my itinerary. Thanks a lot for this video!
No worries - thanks for watching! 😊

Hi there! That sounds like a great way to see lots of different scenery without spending a lot of time travelling. Enjoy your trip!
This is going to come in so handy for my trip in October. Solo, one week, not much planned (yet)
Great to hear! Hope you have a fantastic trip 😊
How was it? What was your favorite part of Japan?
Jigokudani Monkey Park and Miyagi Zao Fox Village.
I would add Nokogiriyama in Chiba Prefecture ... it's incredibly historical and great for hiking.
Yes! 100% agree!

Happy 100th! I'm currently on 13. Can't wait to be on your level!
That's amazing. Most I've done is 3 countries in two days. To do 100 is really something.
@@cardinaltravel thanks! Cuba was my 100th last August. At 103 now :)

Sorry, Japan’s second biggest city is Osaka
According to Google Osaka is the third largest city by population after Yokohama
