I go to Clyde warren park frequently and would’ve fell over had I walked up on this. I’ve heard this song in many different formats and with different instruments and no matter what it always delivers. I was in high school in the early 90’s here in Dallas and the Toadies were one of the coolest bands I’d ever seen live. The Toadies are part of what makes me proud to be a Texan.
Man, i can listen to tyler over and over and over. I used to play it in the car at night after leaving the bar w my girlfriend. She used to just stare at me like i was out of my mind.
Go to Austin. They live there and play shows pretty often. Plus, Austin is a cool place to visit. *edit* apparently they are from Ft Worth, but they frequent Austin.
The Radiohead prelude is a perfect prove how when a musician made a so beautiful song he has a great taste in music. Great , both Karma Police and Tyler, this is a very great performance!
FamilyWhale There should be the entire population of Austin and Houston minimum. I grew up in Boston and Dayton, OH and never heard Rubberneck until I was 12, 1300 miles away in Cincinnati, and I love the fuck out of the Toadies, and everything about them. They deserve far more views than any shitty modern music.
Amen, brother! I agree 100%. The Toadies are a godsend to the music of our generation. Top-tier, amazing, creative, angelic. I could go on, but YES! TO THE TOADIES!
Love this. We actually named our firstborn daughter after this song. She's never forgiven us lol but we love our Tyler. Saw you 18 or 19 years ago in boise.
Love this band. Beautiful rendition and I hope ya'll tour outside Texas sometime soon. Preferably north. More precisely Wisconsin and to be as specific as possible I'd bet you'd fill out at the Barrymore Theater in Madison, WI.
This is not a hard song to sing. It's not a hard song to play on guitar. It is a very hard song to sing AND play at the same time. The timing of the chord changes and the pace of the singing almost require you to have two split brains. I often think I'm not all that good because I have a hard time sing and play the song at the same time, but later find out the singer doesn't even play guitar. This is not one of those bands. Toadies have always been one of my favorites since the 90s.
The Toadies are so underrated.
And that's an understatement!
Beyond
Especailly this album.
Lovely rape song here I love it
Everyone I know recognizes how awesome their music is 🤷♂️
One of my favorite songs and bands growing up. This performance was absolutely amazing. Still got it man. Yes!
I'm FINALLY getting to see them in October. I'm so freaking excited.
@@apancher Congrats! That would be awesome! Have a blast!
Amazing version. Reminds me of my youth. Thank you
At 21, I got to Dallas in 93, just in time for the Toadies. Much love for this band, beyond rated to me!!

Ever has a song with such scary subject matter sounded so awesome.
That entire album should be considered a classic rock staple
One of my favorite voices ever. Met Vaden at a Burden Brothers show way back and he was such a humble guy. Great show.

Wow...this is incredible. Every version of this song is dynamite. Please come back to Seattle!

Probably my favorite song of all time, what an awesome way to hear it. Love the Radiohead shoutout too.
This song still gives me chills.
Watching in 2020 while the world crashes and burns around me 👏👏👏
This song never gets old...
Not the first song of their's that I heard (which of course was "Possum Kingdom"), but it was the second and where I fell in love with the band.
Man he’s getting old...so am I. Saw these guys play several times about 20 years ago. Hope to see them again.

I would've loved to be strolling through the park and see this being filmed!!!!
Nice, I love how the chords are so heavy!!!
There should be 7,000,000 views, not 7,000!

Toadies Fort Worth dickeys arena I would be down 👍🏻
Was this done at 7am on a Sunday? I’ve never seen Klyde Warren that empty when the sun is up.

Busking: to play music or perform entertainment in a public place, usually while soliciting money. Time to change the title of your series.
We take a pretty loose definition of the term, mostly due to constraints. Theres a Part II, check it out! ua-cam.com/video/_XW4UGK0VPQ/v-deo.html

Dont be a dick. Just enjoy the song guy
