Why is it when your asked a question you can't give a straight answer its because you dont know so why lie and act like you do know but instead of giving your answer you give a whole dialog of things that were not consistent with the question. The Reason people lie is because they are afraid of what may transpire from telling the truth they are afraid even if they admit the truth you will judge them instead of giving them understanding that its ok atleast they told the truth that they shouldn't be afraid of telling the truth even if it has consequences atleast they dont haft to have the regrets of lying on there conscience

He didn’t really answer the question. People are complex and have varying motivations for lying. Generally it’s because of their own selfish desire. They may say they didn’t do it because they want out of trouble. They may say someone else did it to get them in trouble. What is their motivation? Do they have a reason to lie? Does what they say make sense? Is their version supported by other witnesses? We should not retreat from the question and only focus on ourselves, because what others say can effect many. The truth is important. Knowing why people lie and what to look for if they are lying is important because the truth is important. I’m sorry that this kid got such a hollow answer.

Because God is the Radiant with Light Jesus is called the light of the world, etc... oh and always thought it was interesting how ponitius pilate said "what is truth?" when pilate was trying to be inclusive for the mob against the actual Son of GOD.
