That means that possibly the Bafang programming cable could be used to program the controller. Not sure about this! I will see it when my bike has arrived. It is shipped by train since 5 days. Usually it needs 40 to 60 days to arrive.

Thank you for taking the time to put this together. Is there a way to show battery percentage? Or voltage level? I have no idea what the five bars are set to voltage wise. They're older controllers are not 20% each bar, the first bar is 40% voltage. Unfortunately it's not in the manual.
Great video and thanks to the person who posted how to fix the speed limit by turning on the bike and depressing the brake at the same time for 20 seconds and going full throttle after. Mine is I bike from Amazon with different frame and cargo basket in the back dual motor at little over $800 with speed of 15mph but after the trick went to 30mph Thanks
On the pro the on and off switch is for the front motor. The headlight is controlled by the button on the controller just like you hoped yours would work. I can turn my light on or off with the gray buttons headlight pic.
@brichsolution I just received this exact bike from Alibaba last night. Went for a test ride and followed all your instructions, but the bike still won’t go faster than 16mph. I asked the manufacturer and they said to hold one of the brakes for 20-25 seconds while powering on the bike, but it still won’t go over 16mph. What do you suggest I do?

The entire inside of the controller is filled completely with a grey silicone rubber type material. I assume it’s heat absorbent but there’s no fixing that controller. Not sure why the display cannot show both batteries, most likely controller does not have the function. I usually toggle back and forth between batteries and shut the bike off and turn back on to get accurate reading
@@BRichSolution The manual does show the two battery symbols, but I can live without that tbh. What's more worrying, is that despite the left battery being at full charge, it does not kick in when the battery on the right runs low. Could it be something to do, with the battery cradle?
I have the same bike but with two motors front/back wheel. The headlight button on your bike switches my front motor off/on and the dimmer switch on your bike controls my head lamp/dimmer.

I could not get the cruise control to work either. Another alternative is adjust the cadence sensitivity and select the PAS level and lightly pedal and you can release the throttle and cruise at desired speed

I talked personally with the factory sales manager. He told me this; -P6 is not available to modify in the (jingyu-yolin e bikes). They programmed (in the controller, not the display) the speed average to 30km/h in the "locked" mode and 50-55 km/h in the unlocked speed limit. -P8: you can not modify this. the bike it´s set to pedal assist + throttle mode. you can not turn OFF the thottle in the display. In EUROPE in general, the throttle it´s not allowed to use in a E-bike, NOT LEGAL. So you have to raise the seat and disconnect the throttle cables.

Try flicking the brake levers as the sensor maybe stuck. I had this happen on another ebike. If that doesn't work disconnect brake sensor line to the controller to clear error and if that works as seller for replacement brake lever

i just got mine today .. all black , dual battery 48v 22 amp ..only one motors ,1000w bafang . but the max speed on truttle only was 28 mph -45 km/h.. im a bit disapointed 😓
Check your speed with GPS app, screen on the bike is not accurate. Also when the weather is warmer or long straight aways the batteries will level out and then peak power kicks in and should get you to 31 mph or 50km/h Yes bafang is slower motor thats why in many reviews specify the Xiongda motor. 52V batteries would have helped too. 52V with bafang should get u to 33mph

I have almost the same bike with the same display. But it's limited to only 15 mph. I was trying to figure out how to program it myself but I have no luck. I might have to do a factory reset I'm not sure is there a way that I can program it in order for it to go faster

All dual batteries only show one battery i the display as the batteries combine outside of the controller. What I do is start out on one battery until 2 bars are left, shut battery off then switch the 2nd battery and ride that to 1-2 bars left then shut bike off and turn both on for the ride home
Hello, I have a problem, I adjusted the YL 90 T-H screen of my SameBike RS-A01 bike, but when I open the screen, the PA is displayed, and asks for a setting 000 0 . I do not know what to do. My bike just arrive yesterday. Love it! I went with the dual motors. Climbs hills like a dream. I saw the setting to adjust the max speed, but it still only tops out at 25 mph. Does anyone know way to increase?
Another person posted the same thing. I believe the dual motor draws too much current to each motor it limits the top end speed. To confirm this unplug the front motor cable from the controller and do a speed test with only the rear motor so it gets the full 25amps
It's not down to having dual motors. I disconnected one motor and still had a the hard limit at circa 25mph when running one motor (wheels in the air). Either there is a enforced limit or the controllers are underpowered and maxing out.
I've read that there could be a single (normally white) wire that can be disconnected from the controller and it will unlock the full speed. I can't test on my bike as I'm away but someone may be able to verify if this unlocks the speed restriction.
I have this exact Yolin YL90T-H display. Any help on this PE would be great. I accidentally set a password on my Power-on password setting(PE) and now I am virtually locked out of my ability to go beyond the PE display. No idea how to get out and reset my display. Thanks in advance..........Dale.

I have the single motor ebike. I believe you can turn off 2nd or front motor in the display or using the top battery from what I have learned from comments of people with dual motors
@@saulGjr I found out how to get back to the 30 mph. 1) Turn off the bike 2) squeeze one of the brake levers 3) while holding the brake lever turn the bike back on 4) keep holding the brake lever for 20 seconds 5) after 20 seconds let go of the brake lever and immediately give the bike throttle while also increasing the bikes max power to (5)

@@BRichSolution resolved that I was being dumb and had it in PAS 1. However now it intermittently cuts power and sometimes displays the error code for brakes (error 5). When I did get it working I got up to 48kmh
Update: had to adjust brake motor cut off - found a similar walkthrough on a iuiced bike. basically loosen two set screws and pull the wire out a tad and now the lever isn't so sensitive. My revised first impressions are I am blown away by the build quality and speed and torque. 47 kmh on flat ground with a passenger. I think I might look for a better rear shock as Rich advises, but the value with this bike is insane on my first impressions. I'd like to source some less flappy rear pegs, these are serviceable but ones with a stronger spring would be nice, but it seems sort of proprietary.

@@BRichSolution Now seller has confirmed it. My version of the controller has no speed limiter. That means I can not limit speed to 25Kmh via Display. Also some other P-settings arent adjustable in my case. For example P6 cant be adjusted. Seller will send me another controllers.

Couldn’t find anything in the manual and Victor and his assistant Nicole say that it has to be replaced. I am surprised that you have the exact same supplier - how is your experience? I’m a bit disappointed because the quality is so poor. The lights stopped working, the chain, gear switch and from suspension are rusted. The back suspension was too short and hard(had to replace it), the brakes lost oil… It’s really fun to ride but now, that so many guarantee cases come up Nicole is suggesting them to be my fault. P six, even the what says kilometers per hour. That's not correct, it's actually the percentage you ignore. In this case, the kilometers per hour. The units are percentage, so 50% to a 100 %, whatever.

Do not lower the cutoff voltage that is the worst thing you can do especially if you want to reduce the life of the battery. Do not go lower that 39v which is 3v a cell and is usually set to 42v or 43v which is better for the life of the battery.

Did you buy a bike with 500W motor or 1000W? Is P02 in advanced set to 48V or 52V depending on batteries? Is P06 is set to set to 100?
1000W rear motor (non-Bafang) / P02 48v / P06 at 100%
I had to set P05 to 1-9 for mine to go fast

The ON/OFF switch on the left side is for the dual motor set up. Off is only rear motor, on is rear and front motor.

No you can go down to 48v without issue

shipping was more like 75 days, but not sure if it was because I was in Florida or time of year

55kph is about as fast as 48V or 52V battery will allow. 100 kph max means speed is not restricted. $5000 super 73 ebikes only go 50kph

Did you opt for bafang motor and 48V? If so the bafang is slower then cheaper Xiongda motor.

I would shut the battery off that drives the front motor is the easiest way

my display only shows one battery i have 2 and only on battery is being used why ridstar Q20 pro
All dual batteries only show one battery i the display as the batteries combine outside of the controller. What I do is start out on one battery until 2 bars are left, shut battery off then switch the 2nd battery and ride that to 1-2 bars left then shut bike off and turn both on for the ride home

Hello, I have a problem, I adjusted the YL 90 T-H screen of my SameBike RS-A01 bike, but when I open the screen, the PA is displayed, and asks for a setting 000 0 . I do not know what to do. My bike just arrive yesterday. Love it! I went with the dual motors. Climbs hills like a dream. I saw the setting to adjust the max speed, but it still only tops out at 25 mph. Does anyone know way to increase?
Another person posted the same thing. I believe the dual motor draws too much current to each motor it limits the top end speed. To confirm this unplug the front motor cable from the controller and do a speed test with only the rear motor so it gets the full 25amps
It's not down to having dual motors. I disconnected one motor and still had a the hard limit at circa 25mph when running one motor (wheels in the air).
Either there is a enforced limit or the controllers are underpowered and maxing out.
I suspect they have different/better controllers shipped with the single motor version...or the controllers they have shipped with changed recently.
I've read that there could be a single (normally white) wire that can be disconnected from the controller and it will unlock the full speed. I can't test on my bike as I'm away but someone may be able to verify if this unlocks the speed restriction.

I accidentally set a password on my Power-on password setting(PE) and now I am virtually locked out of my ability to go beyond the PE display.

Well I thought that would shut one of the motors off p8 but it doesn't unless I'm doing it wrong
I would shut the battery off that drives the front motor is the easiest way

I have the single motor ebike. I believe you can turn off 2nd or front motor in the display or using the top battery from what I have learned from comments of people with dual motors

You cannot change it higher than 30? The setting is in km / h and I have mine set to 100 km/h and get to 35 mph in long straights

@@saulGjr I found out how to get back to the 30 mph. 1) Turn off the bike 2) squeeze one of the brake levers 3) while holding the brake lever turn the bike back on 4) keep holding the brake lever for 20 seconds 5) after 20 seconds let go of the brake lever and immediately give the bike throttle while also increasing the bikes max power to (5)

@@BRichSolution resolved that I was being dumb and had it in PAS 1. However now it intermittently cuts power and sometimes displays the error code for brakes (error 5). When I did get it working I got up to 48kmh
Update: had to adjust brake motor cut off - found a similar walkthrough on a iuiced bike. basically loosen two set screws and pull the wire out a tad and now the lever isn't so sensitive. My revised first impressions are I am blown away by the build quality and speed and torque. 47 kmh on flat ground with a passenger. I think I might look for a better rear shock as Rich advises, but the value with this bike is insane on my first impressions. I'd like to source some less flappy rear pegs, these are serviceable but ones with a stronger spring would be nice, but it seems sort of proprietary.

How you change the mph range level 1 thru 5 speed. level 1 10mph . Level 2 20mph level 3 26mph level 4 30 mph level 5 35mph.
The levels are dictated my the max speed set with the amps on setting p14

@@BRichSolution Now seller has confirmed it. My version of the controller has no speed limiter. That means I can not limit speed to 25Kmh via Display. Also some other P-settings arent adjustable in my case. For example P6 cant be adjusted. Seller will send me another controllers.

Try resetting setting to factory settings, see user manual link is in description of video. I think details are at bottom of manual. If that doesn’t work Reach out to victor on chat and ask his for password

But that’s the thing - I am looking for a way to reset the display because I can’t access it past the code. Couldn’t find anything in the manual and Victor and his assistant Nicole say that it has to be replaced.
I am surprised that you have the exact same supplier - how is your experience?
I’m a bit disappointed because the quality is so poor. The lights stopped working, the chain, gear switch and from suspension are rusted. The back suspension was too short and hard(had to replace it), the brakes lost oil…
It’s really fun to ride but now, that so many guarantee cases come up Nicole is suggesting them to be my fault.
I’d like to know what you think about all of it.

I colleague had contact to Yolin, asking for the master password but they don't want to share it. Reasons to-be-guessed! :)

P six, even the what says kilometers per hour. That's not correct, it's actually the percentage you ignore. In this case, the kilometers per hour. The units are percentage, so 50% to a 100 %, whatever.

Do not lower the cutoff voltage that is the worst thing you can do especially if you want to reduce the life of the battery. Do not go lower that 39v which is 3v a cell and is usually set to 42v or 43v which is better for the life of the battery.
