Passive income and possibilities to grow your business is a huge draw with Amazon I believe. But Amazon having the ability to suspend your products or account or withhold funds is scary. I read someone with a business also operating away from Amazon had to get a $100k loan because Amazon were withholding $385k. Obviously a huge seller and nor sure what was the final outcome but it's scary thinking of growing your business with Amazon holding so much power over us. I guess this incident is quite rare though.
I have a lot of issues with my inventory, I shipped 200 units with 10 variations but I shipped them under one SKU but with different FNSKU on each variations. Amazon couldn't separate them, they put almost all the variation on the same SKU even though it has different FNSKU. I have tried sorting it out but is not working. I have spent close to 300dollars on PPC but nothing to show for it I only sold 5 units. Please I need help, I can go for training. @tatiana please help me
You are the most honest and transparent person i know talking about selling on amazon. Where people would learn so much with their comfort
Just yesterday, I reached my first $1k sales for one day! What an exciting moment! But yes, I agree about seller support. Its like talking to a wall, and then when there is a mistake on their end, they take a very long time to respond to make the correction on their end, but its all a great learning experience and its just more practice on how to be patient with my sister in law 😆

Seller support is THE number ONE con with this business by light years........it's beyond comprehension how Amazon allows this support to exist......everything else with Amazon is a walk in the park on a sunny summer day with white pillow clouds floating by, while chirping birds sing songs of love.......I'm NOT kidding at all.....in private business, the whole seller support would be thrown out on their ass in less than a week on the job.....But, great job on your video, real good info :)

Selling my amazon business is what ultimately will end up doing. I mainly started this business to develop business skills, and to eventually build a start up in something completely different. I started this business while I was in college for engineering. Thanks to my efforts I'll be graduating with very little debt and will have it paid off in a matter of months. I couldn't more more grateful for the opportunities that amazon has provided me.

Seller support is by farrrrr the biggest con!!! I wish Amazon invested more money into that function. Do you think other big tech companies will soon have a 3rd party seller model too?
I feel the pain too Ben! haha. I think they might! It'll be interesting to see how other 3rd party sellers evolve. What do you think?
@@TatianaJames I doubt they will. However with more and more scrutiny coming onto the Big Tech, I hope Amazon's dominance in the marketplace will gradually reduce. In the future I do believe Google and Facebook will get involved in the 3rd party selling model. I mean Instagram are already starting off. There is just too much money to be made...

Great video as always! Ive seen all your videos and I definitely feel you have been the most transparent and i also feel i have learned so much about amazon FBA from your content. My one question is, do I really need to take a course? Ex. Asm. I feel like everything you have mentioned from the beginning checks off all the boxes. Of course theres still hands on experience and learning. But im definitely computer literate and learning from you videos, I absolutely feel like i can do this.

The Anonymity is the biggest pro for me because I’ve been in real estate sales for 8 years and it’s exhausting. That constant panic of needing to talk with someone is old.

Reasons not to go to Amazon: Only a very small percentage of sellers succeed on this site. Just the first few pages. And other sellers, over 99%, are just toys of Amazon algorithms and spend all their money on advertising on this site. Amazon algorithms are designed to destroy your listing so you can spend more on advertising. Removes 5-star reviews and keeps negative reviews forever. Well, all sellers want to be on the top three, and that only happens to one percent of sellers, and 99 percent of other sellers only lose their capital. The revenue that Amazon earns through advertising on its website is much, much higher than the commissions and other physical work it does. Creates a competition between sellers and earns money with each click. Without doing anything special !!!

Amazon seller support is non-existent in my opinion. I have NEVER been able to talk to anyone on the phone
