Friends, this video teaches us that working out at the gym can only make you physically fit and look strong, but after soldier training, you will be able to survive mentally and physically in places where a common man cannot. So, do more running exercises than gymming. Running and jogging will make you fitter and stronger than just gymming. Thank you.❤😊
That’s why calisthenics are the best form of workout you can do. Makes your body a machine. You target every muscle group, it drastically improves your balance, keeps you flexible, and you master your own weight
This is an awesome video and I'm glad you got to experience this! I've been in almost 7 years and I love seeing civilians getting a taste of the Corps!!
Such an incredible endeavor. I can only imagine how fulfilling and humbling of an experience it was to train with them, considering your family history with the Marines. Well done. :)
Great video and congrats on your hard work and patriotism. I never even got to the point of calling in artillery until 3 years after I went in, but then, wasn't my job. Not until I was an officer and got to do all kinds of stuff. If you want to continue this into a series, I would have suggested going to a Marine tank unit, but we don't have them any more. School of Infantry is another great 6 weeks (not), but it taught me a great deal. Try the endurance course at OCS in Quantico if they will let you. Last, I'm surprised no one demonstrated the techniques for the O Course. It's not that bad once you know how. Thanks again for your support. Semper Fi
I served with the Marines on my first of 4 deployments ( I volunteered for all 4 tours, also did 2 tours back-to back ) with the Texas Guard ( I was in infantry units ) at Camp TQ in late 2004 till all of 2005 ( it was a marine FOB then ) there was also a Marine PRC unit there too, they were Marine reservists. We were an infantry unit, battalion sized, our duties were: ECPs,route-clearance,combat patrols,QRF,Sgt of the guard. I was bored with working 2 full time civilian jobs ( did this for 10 months ) wanted a BIG dangerous, challenge ( I was already in the Texas Guard ) so,I picked a unit, got my orders and off I went to-HELL. 140 degrees at Camp TQ and other areas of Iraq, never been in heat like that before. LOL. The insurgents were tough and relentless where we patrolled, not a cake walk either, far from it. We lost 12 of our buddies and had 8 severely wounded with no replacements either. So,we had to use those marines from that PRC unit.Thank God for the Marines !!! We were able to continue our missions and not be under strength. The Marines lost 10 of their buddies, like I said,no cake walk. SEMPER-FI
Would have been great to see her actually do the complete obstacle course and PT tests, rappelling and more and then see how she holds up, I would venture not well. She did Ok with what little she was asked to do and I am sure this was designed for them to be able to make it through and look good for the marines as well.
Marines has been a huge journey for myself and I honestly encourage yall to give it a go if you think its your calling. It wont be easy but youll have each other to push through and embrace the suck
As a former Infantry Marine, We did that O-Coarse three or four times a month. Working with Anglico was always fun as I was a FAC (Forward Air Controller) for my Company (Echo-2/7). Glad you enjoyed the experience. "Get Some!"
My twin brother was with ANGLICO in OIF I while we were making the big push towards Baghdad with RCT-7.. He had a lot of good things to say about this unit. You were in good hands looks like you did well. Oorah, Semper Fi!
This was pretty awesome, I'm a military vet myself. You seem strong-minded. I could definitely see you being the type of Fitness influencer that does more crazy fitness or Outdoors challenges like this. You should look into the Sigma 3 survival school, SERE, or Survival university were you have to live in bushcraft shelters for prolonged time. Or if you really want something exciting maybe go polar bear hunting in the artic.
Hey Keiani :D, you’re such an inspiration to me! I hope to become as strong and confident as you are, and it motivates me every day. Grateful for your example! From India ❤:).
she is doing a free ad for her military, how is that an inspiration? so many indian women also go in military and serve at actual posts and rankings such as pilots, doctors, officers, etc, they are not inspiration for you? how could you fall for a fitness influencer?
@@realracing3specter295 "She's discussing the strength and confidence she aspires to have in her life. Ultimately, it's her decision who motivates her, and you don't have the authority to dictate her choices."
On the "O" course you have to understand its more technique than physical once you learn how to negotiate each obstacle it gets easier to do it takes time and training you did well. Also you do need to build up your body's strength no lie their but its mostly the technique and losing your fear just do it commit when you jump. O h did you make the time limit? if I remember you had to do the "O" course less than 3 mins.
I always wanted to be a part of the military, especially the Marcos or the Marines but i cannot be one now, still you got an opportunity to have that experience which is invaluable ❤ Happy for you and kinda jealous at the same time 😃
The Corps has come a long way in the gear they are fielding. We had to get the used DCU's of Marines coming back from a float ( 1992 to 1996), no electronic ear pro, limited individual NVG and commo equipment, flak jacket with no armor protection. Even polipro underwear was used, lol. Glad to see they are getting better equipment.
This was inspiring. Thank you for doing this. I don't understand the comments underscoring army as an private entity. Like they are crucial to national security. These people are ready to go out there and fight for your lives and well being. Comments like these are very amusing to me. I am not from US and over here, we generally understand how important an army is to the sovereignty of the nation and I respect them for that.

I miss the military too,I was in the navy first, then joined the army later. At the time the navy wouldn't accept prior service. Had fun in both branches tho.
@ it was a good time. im still pretty young though so I definitely see myself maybe giving the national guard a shot when I finish my school and start my career
The recruiting office I train with just sent another batch of fresh recruits. They'll be right there in San Diego soon, if not already. I go in a couple months. Sitting here feeling shitty because PT got cut short due to me getting bit by twig ants and getting a major allergic reaction to it. Face got swollen and neck got red and itchy, but went away after a couple Benadryls. Wrist is still swollen and I'm not supposed to be working out, but I got another PT tomorrow. Couldn't run and everything feels numb and in pain at the same time. Fun watching this. Lifting the spirits. Thanks.
Thank you for showing people some of the hard work our military does. I hope more people recognize the effort these boys and girls put in for our country
