Great video… I feel confident to do this job myself now. I especially like how you used the 8mm ratcheting wrench on the hex socket to fit in that tight space… very clever solve given that even a swivel ratchet wrench would be a tight squeeze with a 7mm hex socket for that lower pin. 👍

Does it matter if the brake pads are upside down or not as long as the pad is facing the rotor? Meaning, does it matter if that metal clip on the brake pad is at the top or bottom when installing?
When you change brake pads, you need to change the rotor to that rotor. Looks kind of bad so that means your brake pads are out quicker than they’re supposed to be. Because I had mine done. I didn’t do it myself because I didn’t have the proper jack, but the rotors need to be replaced because there are no good and there are warped. I got a feeling yours look warped as well.

It should be installed the same way the brake pads came off
@@NoneMechanic101 ok I think I may have installed them incorrect. Now I have to Jack the truck back up and switch them.
