i could NOT understand the explanations from other videos how to do a smooth color change in the round like this, but this one just kinda clicked?? i love it
This bee came out so cute!!!! I had to slow down the video and rewind a couple times bc it went fast but I'm so pleased with this project. :) I used embroidered eyes bc I didn't have plastic ones big enough. Wish I could post a picture here. Thank you for this tutorial.
Awe thanks! I'm so happy you liked it! I try to do slow videos, but then people say "speed up!" but I like slow videos so I may slow them down a bit from now on. I appreciate you!
Also, this is a tutorial on how to create your own bee. So stitch count will vary depending on you’re mods. The written pattern for this bee is on my blog. This is the guide.
I am making this as a baby shower gift that has bees as their theme. I am using the exact materials/brands/style/colors/sizes as you. How the heck are you able to do a magic circle with this yarn!? The yarn keeps getting stuck on itself and snaps when I try to tighten the circle. I tried going up a few sizes on the hook just to do the first part of the circle but nothing so far has helped. Any tips?
You are so good in explaining everything your voice is so soothing it makes the project easy and relaxed…you’re the best I’ve seen so far keep up the good work and I’ll be searching for more of your tutorials thanks
The first round is no increase. Second round is 2 sc in each stitch, so it doubles the stitch count. Third round is increase in one stitch, sc in next. Repeat around. Forth row is increase in first stitch, then sc 2. Fifth round is Inc in first stitch, then sc in next 3. Etc…
I think these were 10 mm or maybe nine. I don’t know they were in a giant package and my cat knocked them all off onto the floor and I would just go with ones that you think looks the best but I think they were around nine or 10 mm
@@stardustgoldcrochet EVERYTHING 😭 but seriously I can’t figure out how to do the round thing it’s just not working whenever I try it makes a massive knot my yarn isn’t yarning
Unpopular opinion! But if you’re having trouble following - head over to the blog post where it’s all written out. Perhaps that will make it clearer. Are you designing one? Or trying to follow a strict pattern? Because this tutorial is how to learn how to create one you can modify at your liking.
Also, in professional written patterns - sc is singular. I.e., sc in the next 3 sts. The proper abbreviation for increase is INC. The proper abbreviation for decrease is sc2tog. So if I say single crochet (sc) in 2 it means single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches. Hope that helps.

Oh I’d love to see that!

That’s wonderful! 🙏

Why don’t videos say how many stitches at the end of each row. I don’t understand why not just say how many at the end of each row.
That’s in the written pattern on the blog
Just count the points in the video to know how many should be left at the end, it's not that difficult

Thank you!! You helped me make my second different thing! The first was turtles 🐝🐝🐝
Wonderful! I’m so glad it helped and you had fun!

It’s definitely quirky with this yarn. I do it very loose and make sure there are not twists. That’s the key.
I needed a quick and easy bee pattern for my moms bday tomorrow, this worked perfectly!
Glad I could help!
What size eyes in mm do you recommend? How many yards do you need for each color? About how long does this project take? Thank you!
Hey there! Did you happen to check out the pattern on the blog? stardustgoldcrochet.com/crochet-honey-bee-pattern-free/
I check on eye size but it wasn't there ! Not in the pattern! Thank you 😊

Carol that's such a sweet thing to say! Thank you so much!
How many yarn did you use? 💗💗
Less than a skein of each color. :)
Thank you great tutorial 😊
im making this right now! hopefully i make it as good as you! love this turtorial and the look of the bee
Good luck! Thank you!
Can I sell the bee that I made and say that this is your pattern?
So confused about rounds 3 and 4. Is 3 1sc and a increase then round 4 2sc and increase?
The written pattern for basic increase in on the blog of that helps.
Etc…
Can you please make cute cactus plants plushie in different designs ? Watching from India 🇮🇳
Cool idea!
So cute thank you
You're welcome! I really enjoyed making these bees. They work up so fast!

Idk what to do in round three and four
What do you mean? Are you having trouble with a stitch?
.what is the height and width , length of the result?
That’s all on the blog post :)
ive had problems with the ends of the yarn coming out of the project
Make sure you weave them in good and you can use a little glue too. Plushie yarn does that a little but you can hide it inside
What size eyes in mm did you use? i really love it!
I think they are 16mm
Um I don’t know what i did wrong but it turned out 10x larger and not the right shape….im so confused I followed all the steps
It's a big bee! What size yarn and hook did you use? It could be that your tension is too loose?
As Someone with adhd I am struggling so hard
What are you struggling with?

So confusing - saying Sc in 2 I thought you meant increase x4 over two stitches. Really difficult to follow
