🎹 Music is from imovie and is called Newborn
It has become a life goal of mine to make it to Heron's.
Same here , I live in Northern Europe and I really hope I can visit soon .
I've been and I'm o/s. Incredible place. Peter's a really nice guy. One of life's originals.
I will be fulfilling that dream in August, visiting from Australia.
Me too. I’ve always wanted to go to the UK … only problem is you have to leave all the goodies behind 🥲
@@pgp72 are we able to get these trees back to Australia?
Those cork bark black pines 😍😍😍
Excellent looking new purchased trees.
Magnificent trees Peter. I was excited just watching this video.
Peter, I have a suggestion for you. I think you could put together an incredible youtube video (or multiple videos) by taking a trip to Japan and interviewing the ones responsible for the great specimen bonsai you just received. If you did, folks around the world would be enthralled. There must be incredible stories behind some or most of the trees you received by ship. Thank you for this video. I am very envious here in the U.S. and hope to visit one day. Your customers are very lucky.
I have videos from 30 years back when I went to Japan regularly - but not in the format that I can use now for YOuTube
@@peterchan3100 The next day after viewing this video, I had to have my wife step into the computer room to see what you were showing. She was in awe. I have been doing bonsai since the early 1980s here in the U.S. and can't help being excited about this art form after all these years. Cheers! and Thank You!
That’s a fine mesh you’ve let yourself into 😊
A fine addition to your collection.
Whoaa.... those big black pines and itoigawas... Awesome 👍
Thx for sharing Peter
What beauties! Mr. Chan's excitement is infectious. I was giggling like a little girl as he was showing us around the greenhouse!
You’re kidding?
@@oggyoggy1299 I don't kid about plants.
Will be my first visit to Herons in about 3 months time after Peter did a local Bonsai club I went to in my early 20's! Now I'm in my mid 40's I'll finally get to see all those fantastic works of art.... and hopefully the man himself! 😁 Black Pine here I come!
Thank you , God bless you and the work you do , the team that helps you and looking forward to years of your posts.
Amazing trees thanks for sharing
That’s a lot of trees ,, I always love to have one ,, and last week I have my first one 💙💙💙💙, so I were looking for videos to learn how to take care of it , and I found yours , and since then I watch your videos every day , I replanted 3 to make bonsais 💙💙💙💙💙Thank you for tips , you’re awesome 💙💙💙those new ones are so beautiful 💙💙💙💙💙
I told my wife if I had to choose between winning a major lottery and meeting and spending some lengthy time with you Peter, working on bonsai's and chatting, my choice would be to see you. She replied "as she usually does" would not it be better to win the lottery, then you could afford not only to go and enjoy your visit, but you could also buy me many of Peter's creations and ship, them home. Funny how they are so right so often. 40 + years and she always nails it. God I am so blessed.
Good morning. Some lovely tree's.
Such beauiful trees Peter! Can't wait to come and see them all!! Thank you for sharing!
They are magnificent 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Coffee and inspiration amazing trees 😮
I finally made it here and had a lovely visit on Thursday, stunning place FULL of inspiration even though most are well out of my pocket! Staff we met are ALL so helpful and friendly 😎
Thank you Johny
That is a big order you got in. I bet they fly out of the nursery. Every plant was beautiful.
Thank you for another instructive video, Mr. Chen. I did not know there is a bonsai "industry " in Japan where they maintain bonsai for decades just for sale. It is actually quite amazing.
Lucky people that can visit you and see these trees once they are free from quarantine.
Black pines galore!! I could spend all day in the quarantine house looking at them. Also the Juniper at 4:00 is stunning. Looking forward to your workshop videos!
oh how I envy your ability to acquire these absolutely mind bogglingly beautiful specimens. that trip thru the quarantine hoopy was mesmerizing. sorry , I get lost in the beauty of all plants, but bonsai speaks volumes to me. It has become somewhat of the center of my being.
Incredible, I wish I could buy them outside the UK...
Beautiful.
Like Christmas 😊 wow 🇺🇸I can only dream about and watch your videos😢
Wow the specimens in the quarantine area. Such beautiful trees. Peters Like a giant walking carefully thru ancient forest 😊
What a great quaruanteen house you have for incoming trees. That way you can check for any invasive insects, or just ride along insects and remove them before you bring your new trees into the population of your trees. Super Cool!!!
Only at Herons !!
Wow, beautiful trees 🌳
You have strong employees to be able to unpack those.
Can you make a video of the smaller black pines they are very nice
So beautiful. Thanks for the walk through of your greenhouses. Wish we could buy some in the US. Great prices
Beautyful 🙏🏼
Its like Christmas! Look at all those awesome trees 🤩
Those cork bark pines are spectacular!
gorgeous trees. Times like these make me feel as if I am definitely on the wrong side of the pond.
beautiful!
Amazing jbp trees! Must feel like xmas all over again.
Haha it's like it was your birthday and all the gifts you're waiting to open!
Beautiful and impressive trees! I imagine myself, walking along those, kind of "like a child in a candy store"...😊
very interesting info regarding quarantine protections.
Just wow.
The quality 🤯🤯🤯
Amazing, Thank you for sharing
Such beautiful trees. Being an ex-docker, it was interesting to hear all these Bonsai were imported in only 1 x 20' container. I can only imagine how careful the stowage within that container must have been. It's quite possible the container came through my hometown port , I'm so glad everything arrived safely and in great shape
what a haul, can't imagine how much that whole shipping container cost
20 ft container of trees.
@@peterchan3100 how much $$ I mean, many thousands I imagine
Peters not joking around! Beautiful imports!
I wish we had trees from japan like this in the usa. I want a Japanese imported tree bad.
QUE HERMOSOS EJEMPLARES ..LASTIMA ESTAR TAN LEJOS . PERO LOS APRECIO EN EL VIDEO. GRACIAS .
Feast for eyes, such beautiful bonsais , I wonder how their creators must’ve parted from them, some of them are obviously so old. Added bonus was that IIT Kharagpur jacket, Hawaiian shirts look good too but to see a bit of India there felt good 😊
Watching Philippines Davao city 👍👍👍👍
Very enjoy every videos. I try to look for unwire video but I can’t find it .Can you show us again please .
I wish I lived in the UK, such beautiful trees
How do they survive the shipping container?
Wish I would have the space for one of those huge trees
So it's ok to import black pines now...I think that was not always the case? It''s good they've changed the rules.
You are absolutely right.
Herons Bonsai Heaven! The white pines are tantalizing. However, I much prefer a Peter Chan original!😇❤😊
I'm sure no insect could get through the sophisticated quarantine system lol.
With the beautiful mature pines and junipers im guessing you always have to take a chance and buy from photographs. Does this ever feel like a risk... They cant be cheap?
If I could import trees to where I am, I can see my credit card taking an absolute hammering.
Oh my word I would love to see the azalea in quarantine
Azalea does not require Quarantine
One of those cork bark black pines is mine ❤
Beautifull bondais😍😍
I will be in Japan for one year next year, Is there any way for an individual person to export a tree once I am set to leave?
@Herrons // will I ever be able to buy one of your specimens and have it sent to California? Thank you for everything you do!
You need to find out how to do it.
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 thanks Peter
If it's not a silly question, how do the plants get to the UK, ship or by air? Just wondering how they're cared for during their long journey.
By sea.
Thanks for the help.
If I were to visit, I would be so compelled to help though. I would probably start by sweeping heh heh heh..
That's an incredible site to see! The initial outlay must be horrific to import that many. Hats off to you the are some fantastic trees there. I must remember to leave my credit card at home on my next visit 😆
Cost an arm and a leg to import this lot - just to hire the Reefer container costs a bomb! Each inspection is also expensive.
The quality is second to none though. Incredible specimens 👏
I wonder how long the shipment takes overseas? It's probably safer to ship during the Winter months? I would loved to open up that container too!!
Wish Peter had a store for the 🇺🇸
I really wish I could get some of your trees in the US they are some amazing
Save me some!
How do we (USA) get one from herons or import from Japan ?
Which website or apps did you use for ordering new bonsai from Japan?
Peter what is the rubber mallet/gavel used for in the isolation tunnel?
To remove trees out of their pots when trees are too pot bound.
Peter-why do the deciduous trees not have to undergo quarantine like the confiers?
I Dont know - I am not a plant pathologist.
@@peterchan3100 OK, I thought that as a nursery owner you might know. Here in the USA everything has to be shipped in bare rooted, chemically treated, and then held for a specified time. It makes importing large expensive trees a risky business but does help the market for large native yamadori specimens.
I wish you could ship to the US!
This video is like paradise!!! What a great look and treasuresI have 2 questions which go into another subjects. What is this fantastic music you always have at the end of your great videos?
i would love to hear it complete. I also wanted to know if you are working with the moon-calendar. (for instance no planting on full moon etc.)? i would love to hear your opinion to this. I'm not sure if i have to obey this to getter results.
Once again thank you so much for showing us your world. It's so motivating and joyous to see your work.I see the world through different eyes (seriously!)All the best for you!
It is possible that the Cycles of the moon can have an effect on plants - just as it can on humans, but I dont work to that.
i love when you talk about the prize but can you send it to indonesia?A
friend of mine want to have one
My kind of toy store.
Send me one mate
Absolutely stunning specimens …… really ruing the fact that I don’t live in England! Question - why do some trees require quarantine but not all?
I can just imagine how expensive them first group of pines are 😂
Which of these plants, do you think can survive in Delhi?
You have to come here to buy as we cannot ship outside UK. Black pine may be OK in Delhi.
Anyone have details to import to Melbourne Australia?
Very Awesome Bonsai Trees Sir Peter. Just a Question Would a UV lights systems help in killing the Parasites and Insects? Just a funny Thought Sir Peter In America We too have to use Quarantine our Bonsai Trees but Our Borders are Still Open so Trees are Protected but Human lives are Not. Crazy world Peter.
Is there a massive Deodar Cedar in top right at 2:17?
Yes it is a Cedar but Atlantic Cedar - Neighbour's tree.
@@peterchan3100 Peter, please make a video on making an Italian Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) into bonsai. I don't know if it's a popular species there in the UK but here in India it's becoming really popular. I've grown my own from seeds collected off a tree in my college campus, IIT Mandi (thankfully, it has a very cool climate being in the Himalayas). It's sold very cheap as well. I'm trying to train one but it's pretty straight. Please guide me on this.
🤤🤤🤤❤
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
How can i purchased
OMG! where can I find a bonsai seller like that in the states....
Can I order in for Finland??
Sorry NO - If you visit by car, you can buy and take them back
👍👌👌🙂🙂
Masha alláh yarabi barak masha 🌲🌲🌲🌲♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💙💙💙💙💙👍👍👍👍💯💯
Sheesh, if I'd started growing trees 30 years ago instead of 10, they'd be worth a deposit on a house by now.
I am curious to know if anyone has done any cryptomeria japonica as bonsai
Very nice trees but way out of my price range as a pensioner 👍
Please lord change the import laws here in the United States!
Please stop posting new content, I began my day working on my house and am now exploring the forest looking for potential bonsai 😂❤ we have short leaf, long leaf, loblolly, and slash pine growing naturally in abundance in Mississippi. Love the videos!!!
You are in the middle of the _Lost Pines_ region. What is the oldest _Slash Pine_ that you have? How does it look and grow?
Wow beautiful natural geography like already free people love tree bonsai ok kupchak happy during eyeliner guppies natural they house people different very happiest pirates talot laster 🥰😁
