He never worked on his game, was never injured (ever), played against Shaq, D. Robinson, Rodman, Ewing, Hakim, Duncan, Rick Smits, Mourning, Karl Malone, Garnet, etc. still made an Allstar and never missed the playoffs. I think he is not the greatest player ever but was probably the best team player and made everyone around him 2 times better. He was a perfect match with Magic and we can just wonder what he could become if that didn’t happen to Magic.

Sabonis almost end Divac carrier before even started ..it was semi final off world championship 1986 with old rivals Yugoslavia-USSR...Yugoslavia had a lead 9 points just 40 second before the end off game ..it was consider allready victory so young Vlade Divac who was just 16 years old was in the game ..then Sabonis score 3 on Divac ..Yugoslavia lost a ball and he scored another 3 ...Yugoslavia had last attack but Divac traveled when he was on half court,USSR took the ball and score 3 in last second sending game to overtime where they win by 1 .
IT was devastating start for Divac carrier because Yugoslavia was as favorite to win it

Dude. That was fucking amazing. Divac punched one handed dunks on Mutumbo, Alonzo Mourning(twice), Bradley, Muresan, Horace Grant and a BUNCH of other premier defenders. And his passing was jaw dropping. He was as good a passer as Magic on those Laker teams....truly a HOF career. Kudos. P.S. He smoked cigs at halftime through his whole Laker and Hornet years. Legend. After watching that Divac may have become my fav all time player. Def moved into top 5.

Scared the shit out of me. i was with two clueless English guys who didn't know who he was, & thought everyone was staring at him because he was so big. I had to explain exactly who he was to them, & no the people weren't staring at him because he is a freak of nature, because Serbia is full of 7 ft giants.
