    For those who have a WTF moment. Vlade is one of the most accomplished players ever. Won on every international level. Gold u15 gold u19 gold universiade 3xgold eurobasket 2xgold world cup. And if the NBA wasn’t rigged, the Sac Kings would’ve won the title. Loved by all his teammates! Basketball is more then just stats. He could’ve scored more points but he played basketball the right way.

    I feel a bit sad that he didn't mention Magic though, because I saw that Magic mentioned him and thanked him when he was doing his speech for the Lifetime achievement award this year.
    I mean Magic didn't need to mention Divac at all but he did, so I thought Divac would have done the same seeing how well he was accepted and helped by Magic in his rookie season. In the end of the day it's his own choice what he wants to say here but I feel like he could have shown some love and respect to Magic even if he wasn't present, so I see it as a missed opportunity.

      yeah, he said meaningful stuff, especially meaningful to someone from the Balkans as I am. Vlade has a big heart!

      Yeah, he stuttered a bit too but yeah still not his native tongue no matter how long he's been in the states, heck he could barely communicate in his, firstyears, with the lakers

    It’s kinda ironic how jerry west went up with vlade divac even though jerry west traded him for Kobe Bryant

    • @strahinjastevic7480

      He persuaded him not to retire after that, and afterall he did end his career with the lakers.

    I'm happy for him being in the HoF especially for what he did for FIBA. But I'm surprised he got in before Toni Kukoc and Radivoj Korac did.

    • @kandid83
      @kandid83 4 роки тому +3

      Why? He played more season, more game, more fameous than Kukoc, and statistically was better? Toni has 11.6 pts, 4.2 trb, 3,7 ast at 846 games and Divac has 11,8 pts, 8,2 trb, 3,1 ast at 1134 games. Statistically Divac is better. Toni is also good probably will be in hall of fame but he did not deserve to be in hof before Divac definitely.

    For all you hating divac is in before c-web and robert Horry .Divac is regarded as one of the best players in the world in the 80s in international competition when European and communist countries were dominating the sport thoes countries brought there best players to represent there country unlike Team USA at the time only filled up there team with college kids playing against professional european basketball players .after that debacle in 88 the dream team was born in 92. Divac,Sabonis,petrovic,Radja,kukoc maybe the best players in the world outside The U.S. at that time .

    Jedino Vlade ne moze se bas svesti rat na svadju porodicnu pa sve bude lijepo. Ipak je 20 000 djece stradalo u logoru. Ne kazem da treba da se mrzimo, al ne treba ni zivjeti u nekoj bajci. Treba da se profesionalno pomazemo i da cinimo sve da budemo jaci, al samo profesionalno! Jer mi sa emocijama ne znamo, brzo iz ljubavi predju u mrznju, lako nas je zavaditi i zato je za sve nas najbolje samo profesionalni odnos.
    P.s. Pozdrav Hrvatima! Sa zeljom i nadom da ce vas Dino Radja uskoro da se pridruzi Vlade Divcu!
