Not gonna lie, I actually liked the Ridonculous Race. It was strange not having Chris there, but there was still that Total Drama charm behind the season

At the beginning of the show (at least in Canada) it would say a warning along the lines of “ don’t try this at home these are ANIMATED TEENS you could get really messed up
Plot twist: in total dramarama Chris turned the characters into kids and erased certain parts of their memory and got chef to pretend to be their guardian while the kids are at the daycare. Then Chris will eventually go to jail for mass homicide and turning almost 20 year olds into children and basically kidnapping them.

There was this one scene where Owen eats “meat balls” and throws up; which always confused me as a kid... Turns out it was a censored edit, because it was actually beef testicles.
Yeah I re-watched the Show on Netflix and it had the cartoon network version which was the censored version but the sub titles still show the original dialogue
I love how he never mentioned how this show inspired other people making things on UA-cam like Inanimate Insanity and other object shows (I don't think BFDI was inspired by Total Drama Island)

I worked on a movie set with the voice actor of Chris Mclean/Jude and watched both these shows religiously as a kid. The actor, Christian, was awesome, one of the funniest guys I've met

@@Sha-walter_goated Heather/Alejandro won the million dollars, but Ezekiel was greedy enough to not give up and acept loss maturely, and in the ending he burned the case. This is just my opinion though, I used to feel bad until I saw the last episode, I felt he deserved it afterwords.

Here’s a funny fact: when the show arrived on Netflix, it had both the censored and uncensored versions of the show. The funny part of it was that Netflix has a setting where you can have a kids only account and the kids only account had the uncensored version and the normal Netflix had the censored version. I think they’ve changed it since then but it’s still funny.

I was flipping through channels with some friends and we saw the new one, and their like babies or something, and Chris wasn’t there, and it was awful. So we turned it off and looked up some of this and just talked about our childhoods. So I don’t know what’s going on now but I still love this show

Speaking if that character I remember I was researching the season she was in and she didn't exist at all meaning that this character just mysteriously disappeared from the show for the entire season, and around the time this was happening I had a lot if nightmares about my worst fears.
Fun fact : the creator or the voice actor of Chris said that chef picked his clothes during special events like the voting area in s2 , boxing match episode , etc

I imagine this show to be an alternate universe to the Clutch Powers universe, where Clutch Powers changed his name to Chris, underwent brain surgery and in the process turned into a psychopath. The thing about these characters is that you either love them, you despise their whole existence or you can't even remember they ever existed
You flashing Detentionaire on screen for half a second just gave me the biggest rush of nostalgia. I watched a LOT of animated stuff as a kid, being canadian i... yeah. But that one was just. Even as a kid i was super invested. Total drama is more memorable to my smoll brain but i somehow remember Detentionaire being really good, like, amongst my favorites.. i should probably check it out and see if my brain is lying or if it was actually decent.

That whole thing about the island actually being right next to society was really weird. They didn't really follow through on that.
