    Excellent tutorial, you do fine work without fancy cabbing machines. It was just what I needed to see with my limited resources, now I feel I can make stones to set myself.

    What an amazing piece of work. Beautiful finish. You have given me all the information I needed to turn a small glassy blue rock into a polished round stone for a ring.👍I do not have the proper tools either. Thanks again.

    Have you a full video showing cutting methods? I make jewellery and have a SR pendulum flex shaft, and need to cut stones smaller before tumbling, I’ve got plenty water lol supplied by a iv bag and line, and have adapted a really useful box and lid to turn the flex shaft into a mini table saw with a adapted sponge at the back to help keep the blade wet and catch over spray as said box is full of water as well as the iv line, don’t think hubby would appreciate a soggy shed! It’s good to see other ways! 😊

    Ahhamazing OH-K R E A L L Y. I've never Seen or been shown Anything made so easy Wonderful job. I was blessed learning from industrial metal artisans Never was it made this easy 😳 Dam good video , 🤔 How i missed the type of grinding stone AND THE DIAMOND {THING} Are beyond me 😣 So I'll have to blame it on the 5oo other videos I've watched on similar subjects . But i really appreciate this. After a catastrophic life changing injury Bed ridden for 7 years out of ? Boredom ? Started using metal tools again although on a much smaller scale.
    And my first attempts were surprisingly Good selling my first {Rings} & jewelry Projects for a few hundred dollars Back then unfortunately i coded a few time with some brain trama ect ect ECT l forgot how to do the simple tricks that helped me craft these 1 of a kind items. THE BAD MY VERY OLD TOOLS AND STOCK SOME NOT REPLACEABLE from family and other journeyman ENY way
    like everything else I'm wekin on it 😂 glad l stumbled on your video [ way to many bad ones out there frfr] I'll definitely check ✔️ Any i may have missed or you may do in the future .I encourage all of your endeavor's. Teachers are Born not made THANKS AGAIN

      @@troysatterfield8817 I find it hard to make spesific size stones. Sometimes harder stones can remove it self from the superglue if Im too agressive on the grinding stone. Slow is the key.

    Awesome video, thx a lot :) I do have a question, my thai friend is collecting stones up to 20 cm wide and long with crystal inside, and I want to get her a tool to cut them. what would be the best way? dremel with special stone cutting attachement?

    • @raulwhitefeather963
      @raulwhitefeather963 Рік тому

      Without tools specific to cutting masonry/ceramic/stone, yes it's likely that a diamond cutting wheel for a Dremel or other rotary tool is the easiest and most cost effective solution. The most important thing is keeping the cutting surfaces cool. An angle grinder or low-priced tile saw, or even a ceramic/tile blade on a standard table saw could work. Really almost any form of abrasive cutting tool will suffice, just don't let the "blade" get too hot. Use water or make short passes and let the blade cool off in between.

    I've been thinking of trying this before I saw your video. I'm impressed with how small you took it down to.. What was the Liquid you pour on the stone before cutting ? Was it mineral oil?
