I've wanted to go to Disney my whole life, and I finally got to go for the first time in my life this year. I've never seen any Disney fireworks even in videos, so to me, this was completely magical!!! I went with my best friend, which made it all the more magical. Now I really want to see Happily Ever After, because if you all considered this blah, HEA must be fantastic!
I wish you could've seen HEA then, it pulled at your heartstrings and made grown adults bawl. After that experience, this show didn't do much for me. I guess I got spoiled. If they ever bring HEA back, you should make a trip back... you won't regret it.
Here’s what I imagined (no shade to this show) We open with a black castle. No lights no nothing Then we hear the pages flipping and mickeys iconic whistle as the white lights shine over the audience Then we see Walt giving the speech of when he opened Disney When he cuts the ribbon we see the book that opened all of the classic Disney princess movies And in the book you see Snow White Cinderella and Aurora dance through the book Then we hear Walt say welcome to Disney where dreams come true Then we hear the 80/90s intro music with the blue castle and walts signature The castle turns blue to follow that and it’s playing (when u wish upon a star) We see silhouettes of Belle, Ariel, and Tiana and Jasmine dancing with their princes After this, (still playing when u wish upon a star) it does the new castle intro with the same fireworks in the background That’s where we see the collage of Frozen, Moana, Coco, etc. After that , it’s a black castle again, and we hear Mickey say “It’s been a wonderful ride, my Minnie” And we hear Minnie say “oh Mickey, we’re just getting started! The party must being!” Then we hear be our guest, and we see a collage of all the fun/upbeat numbers in Disney years AFTER, we see think fly by herself and afterwards we hear you’ll be in my heart And we see Disney parents And finally, to end it all, we hear the ending of when you wish upon a star - the choir version(from the 90s sing along) And it ends on Walt signing his name on the castle and everyone is crying lol

I remember seeing this show when I was on a band trip here my junior year, apart from being the first time I’d been to the park since 2015, it was nice to cap off the amazing trip with the beautiful fireworks shows that Disney love to do, and it was so beautiful, my friend started to cry tears of pure joy 🥹🥹😃
This doesn't even show the celebration of fifty years of the most magical place on earth!! The beacon of magic speech (which is only like a minute long) is more powerful then this 16 minute firework show!! #bringbackhappilyeverafterWDW!!
Angela's speech was the best thing...Tinkerbell was like an afterthought, didn't even focus on her in this video which tells you a lot. Just seems a collection of songs and a couple of fireworks. Very disappointing to be the 50th Anniversary. I worked for Disney for 15yrs so i am all about the Magic and usually cry at everything they do...but this....not so much...Just doesn't have the "pull at your heart strings" moments or those WOW moments.
Lol, it's so funny how many people are complaining. This community did this same exact thing to HEA when it first debuted and now they're doing it to Enchantment. Y'all gotta hate it before you love it
When I was there I just loved the magic show. It was so beautiful and so much makes you feel so captivated into the moment. It was just so beautiful. I loved it and will love to do it all over again.
This video is the worst of the show. You can’t see the lasers, light beams and everything else, even the projections are dark. Bad camera quality in this video. My phone records in better lighting than this.
I remember the day I went here to Disney and saw the show, I was with my fam and it was so emotional, it was near like this time or November but I remember me crying tears of joy because of how nice the fireworks were lmao😭

This seems like a massive advertisement for all their new movies with some fireworks... I want Happily Ever After back, Also why did they use covers or instrumental for like everything? What do they have against the originals?
Take the two shows and compare. HEA: when Tink flies, everyone is cheering and screaming and you can hear it. After a big firework flourish you can hear the cheers and screams. The ending you can hear everyone clapping and screaming and singing along. Enchantment: very delayed and pretty silent clapping and cheering. Tink flies, you can barely hear anyone cheer. The ending didn’t have a huge applause like HEA. You can just tell that this came no where close to how everyone felt with HEA. Even the first time HEA was shown, the energy was immaculate. A very disappointing show compared to HEA.
Thats because their music was so loud and this was a preview night for journalists etc.. In my opinion, Disney has worked very hard to complete this show (especially the ones who made the show). I dont think it deserves any hate or dissapointment. It is better than hea in some ways. I respect your own opinion.
@@sorelsuareztube Ok that doesn’t change the fact that they’ve had projection on the castle since 2010 which was 12 years ago which was according to your age a little over 1/5 that is a long time. But they didn’t add projections to their fireworks shows until 2015 with the show “Disneyland Forever” which was created for the 60th anniversary of Disneyland. The first show to have projections and big shell fireworks in The Magic Kingdom was “Happily Ever After” which happed in 2017 and ran until September 29, 2021. Anyway sorry for the history lesson, but your comment says fireworks filled the sky and fireworks still do.
This is a HUGE disappointment. They just throw a bunch of the new movies and songs together and called it good. There is no wow factor at all. It does not touch me the way Happily Ever After did. Please bring back the old show. Rather than being part of the castle, they just use the castle as a big screen. The anniversary should be about the celebration of Walt's hard work and all the classics that started it all. Rather than focusing on the mouse and all the original characters that started it all, the new Disney decided to "please" the crowd with the new characters that are forgettable. Overall, this show diminishes the true meaning of Disney.
I saw it on a band trip, in fact, I think that was the main reason we went to Disney. It was glorious to watch in person, and I’ve seen World of Color.
I thought it was absolutely dull, disjointed, and boring when it was first released on Disney Parks Blog. I thought, “Maybe it was the video production or bad camera angles. I just saw it in person two days ago. Nope, just as boring and underwhelming in person. Bob “Paycheck” Chapek must have green-lit this thing. It is so full of IP junk of recent movies that it’s ridiculous. Nothing about Walt Disney or Mickey Mouse! The projections are jumbled and almost unrecognizable. Angela Basset, though a great actress, is not a great voice for this type of narration. Disney could and should have done so much better!

I like the show, but I want to see Happily Ever After (HEA) because I see so many people say “compared to Happily Ever After” or “Bring Happily Ever After”.
We went a few weeks ago and my parents and little sister didn't want to see the show. According to them it was just like EPCOT, which yeah, it sorta is..but this was DISNEY. They wanted to go to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and I wanted to stay to watch the show. At the end they reluctantly stayed, but we were by the back of the Castle. So we weren't seeing it from Main Street (the neck pain was awful). Needless to say I teared up.
Great show! A suitable successor to HEA, even though I'll miss that one so much. I love how they still have Tink flying when the music says "Let your imagination fly." I just wish they had a better camera view of Tink flying :(
Well, I am glad that this Fireworks Show has the Favorite Disney Movies ever in it. Also I can't wait to get The Lego Muppets Minifigures Series So let's hope there will be more Lego Disney Minifigures soon.
I still stand by what I said before I think this show is an experiment for them to use the new technology they are suing to project down Main Street. I think they’ll either remap happily ever after with the new technology or they’ll bring some new show that will over top happily ever after once the 50th is over with. I don’t see how any of them were ok with this. So I think it’s a type of experiment for them to play with til they find what it is they need to fix before they debut their next big thing.

I was really looking forward for a 50th years spectacular celebration. You will never know that Disney is having a 50 years celebration based on this show or Harmonious Spectacular at Epcot, they are completely disconnected from what it was supposed to be the celebration this year. So bad that I'd be making my way quickly to the exit to avoid the crowds. What a letdown. Music is terrible. The fireworks are lame. And there seems to be an over-arching BLM narrative.
@@Yobbie72 It seams like they where pandering rather admitting facts or simply celebrating the history of Disney. As a black kid growing up I didn’t care if the characters where white. A plus if they where black but I really didn’t care. The characters had a story and that’s what I believed in. So when I pretend or imagined those characters in my head I just simply replaced them with me and the people around me. It was their stories that attracted me not just their image.

Growing up in the 80s and 90s in Australia, we watched American shows including The Cosby Show, Hanging with Mr Cooper, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Family Matters, all black casts. And we watched all white shows like Family Ties, Growing Pains, Step by Step etc. Didn't matter the color of the skin. Just mattered that it was entertaining. Disney and the woke brigade's fixation on race today is what's racist. Its divisive and doesn't change the past. And it stops us moving forward. I would expect a 50th anniversary celebration to be bringing all the classics going to the very start. This was a flop

I remember seeing this show when I was on a band trip here my junior year, apart from being the first time I’d been to the park since 2015, it was nice to cap off the amazing trip with the beautiful fireworks shows that Disney love to do, and it was so beautiful, my friend started to cry tears of pure joy 🥹🥹😃
This doesn't even show the celebration of fifty years of the most magical place on earth!! The beacon of magic speech (which is only like a minute long) is more powerful then this 16 minute firework show!! #bringbackhappilyeverafterWDW!!

Angela's speech was the best thing...Tinkerbell was like an afterthought, didn't even focus on her in this video which tells you a lot. Just seems a collection of songs and a couple of fireworks. Very disappointing to be the 50th Anniversary. I worked for Disney for 15yrs so i am all about the Magic and usually cry at everything they do...but this....not so much...Just doesn't have the "pull at your heart strings" moments or those WOW moments.

When I was there I just loved the magic show. It was so beautiful and so much makes you feel so captivated into the moment. It was just so beautiful. I loved it and will love to do it all over again.
This is just not the same as happily ever after and it is very focused on the newest movies produced compared to the history for the 50th anniversary
This video is the worst of the show. You can’t see the lasers, light beams and everything else, even the projections are dark. Bad camera quality in this video. My phone records in better lighting than this.

I remember the day I went here to Disney and saw the show, I was with my fam and it was so emotional, it was near like this time or November but I remember me crying tears of joy because of how nice the fireworks were lmao😭

This feels so dull...
Take the two shows and compare. HEA: when Tink flies, everyone is cheering and screaming and you can hear it. After a big firework flourish you can hear the cheers and screams. The ending you can hear everyone clapping and screaming and singing along.
Enchantment: very delayed and pretty silent clapping and cheering. Tink flies, you can barely hear anyone cheer. The ending didn’t have a huge applause like HEA. You can just tell that this came no where close to how everyone felt with HEA. Even the first time HEA was shown, the energy was immaculate. A very disappointing show compared to HEA.
Thats because their music was so loud and this was a preview night for journalists etc.. In my opinion, Disney has worked very hard to complete this show (especially the ones who made the show). I dont think it deserves any hate or dissapointment. It is better than hea in some ways. I respect your own opinion.

@@sorelsuareztube Ok that doesn’t change the fact that they’ve had projection on the castle since 2010 which was 12 years ago which was according to your age a little over 1/5 that is a long time. But they didn’t add projections to their fireworks shows until 2015 with the show “Disneyland Forever” which was created for the 60th anniversary of Disneyland. The first show to have projections and big shell fireworks in The Magic Kingdom was “Happily Ever After” which happed in 2017 and ran until September 29, 2021. Anyway sorry for the history lesson, but your comment says fireworks filled the sky and fireworks still do.

What a let down
It’s like after the first couple of songs, they just throw a bunch of popular songs at you, that don’t form any kind of coherent theme…
This is a HUGE disappointment. They just throw a bunch of the new movies and songs together and called it good. There is no wow factor at all. It does not touch me the way Happily Ever After did. Please bring back the old show. Rather than being part of the castle, they just use the castle as a big screen. The anniversary should be about the celebration of Walt's hard work and all the classics that started it all. Rather than focusing on the mouse and all the original characters that started it all, the new Disney decided to "please" the crowd with the new characters that are forgettable. Overall, this show diminishes the true meaning of Disney.

I saw it on a band trip, in fact, I think that was the main reason we went to Disney. It was glorious to watch in person, and I’ve seen World of Color.
I thought it was absolutely dull, disjointed, and boring when it was first released on Disney Parks Blog. I thought, “Maybe it was the video production or bad camera angles. I just saw it in person two days ago. Nope, just as boring and underwhelming in person. Bob “Paycheck” Chapek must have green-lit this thing. It is so full of IP junk of recent movies that it’s ridiculous. Nothing about Walt Disney or Mickey Mouse! The projections are jumbled and almost unrecognizable. Angela Basset, though a great actress, is not a great voice for this type of narration. Disney could and should have done so much better!

i Love you so much Disney world
We went a few weeks ago and my parents and little sister didn't want to see the show. According to them it was just like EPCOT, which yeah, it sorta is..but this was DISNEY. They wanted to go to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and I wanted to stay to watch the show. At the end they reluctantly stayed, but we were by the back of the Castle. So we weren't seeing it from Main Street (the neck pain was awful). Needless to say I teared up.
Great show! A suitable successor to HEA, even though I'll miss that one so much. I love how they still have Tink flying when the music says "Let your imagination fly." I just wish they had a better camera view of Tink flying :(

I still stand by what I said before I think this show is an experiment for them to use the new technology they are suing to project down Main Street. I think they’ll either remap happily ever after with the new technology or they’ll bring some new show that will over top happily ever after once the 50th is over with. I don’t see how any of them were ok with this. So I think it’s a type of experiment for them to play with til they find what it is they need to fix before they debut their next big thing.

Where is Walt Disney, Where is Mickey and Minnie? Where are the classic Disney movies? Very disappointing.

@@Yobbie72 It seams like they where pandering rather admitting facts or simply celebrating the history of Disney. As a black kid growing up I didn’t care if the characters where white. A plus if they where black but I really didn’t care. The characters had a story and that’s what I believed in. So when I pretend or imagined those characters in my head I just simply replaced them with me and the people around me. It was their stories that attracted me not just their image.

Growing up in the 80s and 90s in Australia, we watched American shows including The Cosby Show, Hanging with Mr Cooper, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Family Matters, all black casts. And we watched all white shows like Family Ties, Growing Pains, Step by Step etc. Didn't matter the color of the skin. Just mattered that it was entertaining. Disney and the woke brigade's fixation on race today is what's racist. Its divisive and doesn't change the past. And it stops us moving forward. I would expect a 50th anniversary celebration to be bringing all the classics going to the very start. This was a flop
