About this video
Camera: SONY A73 + TAMRON 28-75 f2.8 LENS
Tripod with fluid head
All the footage was shot in summer 2019 when this fireworks show came back to Disneyland for its second run. I shot the fireworks from multiple locations around the park on different days. In some of the primary viewing areas, I shot the fireworks multiple times at the same spot but with different camera movement and focus target. Then merge all the clips in post-processing.
Primary locations:
- Sleeping Beauty Castle
- Central hub
- Main Street USA
- Town Square
- it's a small world
- River of America
To add some extra energy and magic, I also shot some footage next to the rides. But I feel like most of the clips are a little off-track from the main show so many of them are not used or just slightly used. My most favorite clip is the one that Tinkerbell flies over the King Arthur Carrousel so I put this clip at the end to conclude the video.

This firework is the very first firework I watched at Disneyland. It was during the Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration. That two-day trip to Disneyland resort is one of the most memorable moments in my life and makes me a loyal Disney fan. Four years later, I made this video for all the Disney fans who love Disneyland. I'm not a native English speaker, so it's a little hard to describe my love to Disneyland by words. But I hope through this video, you can get that emotional feeling as I have.

first of all THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PIECE OF CINEMATOGRAPHY! second the montage of the areas of the parks at the end along with that absolutely gorgeous song had me tearing up in the best way. I was born in California and i went to Disneyland a bajillion times. I'm an adult now, live in a different state, and nothing has made me miss Disneyland as much as watching this video. I LOVE THIS!!
You really can't put this show anywhere else but Walt's original Disneyland it's so special

Enchantment is a pale reflection of true creativity and disney magic and disneyland forever is possibly the show that reflects the creativity, joy and magic of Disneyland. The people who dare objects should listen to it.
My favorite parts are the parts where we hear the voice of walt Disney himself and live the magic is a truly powerful song.
I was just at Disneyland in July 2022. The fireworks is an amazing sight. You have to stay and see the parade and fireworks to get the full Disneyland miracle.
My fiancé and I met working for Disneyland right there on Main Street U.S.A. We are getting married in August and the theme is Disneyland. This brings so many memories soaring back. I worked the 60th anniversary and all the memories of this show have flooded back. Thank you so much for this truly. I cried multiple times but absolutely lost it during the closing montage. It has everything: Fabulous original music on a grand scale, classic tunes, projection mapping, multiple viewing experiences, dramatic lighting, Nemo and Tink gliding through the show, snope, and amazing fireworks!

Man this takes me back to 2015 when I started working in Fantasyland. I got to see this show a lot through that winter and the summer of 2016 when I had closing shifts, and it NEVER got old. To date, it’s still my favorite Disney show 🥹 thanks for this video!!! It was wonderful!!!
Seeing this after the show is set to return. Now this will be a time capsule of an era of Disneyland before Covid, before paid Fastpass. I love revisiting this video, as this truly is a testament of Disneyland, forever

I think the one thing that I've learned Is to never take anything for granted. I'm not sure where I'm going in 2022 whether it being Disneyland or Walt Disney World I know for one thing when I see that castle whether it be sleeping beauty or Cinderella castle I will probably cry tears of happiness. Faith Trust and pixie dust 🙏 has gotten me through. Maybe 2022 will see a return to normal.
I really love how the camera changes from the Sleeping beauty Castle to Main Street, to It’s A Small World, to the Partners statue, and Astro orbiters. I also really love the ending where you put live the magic and put in almost every ride

Was watching a vid of the new Disney Enchantment. Was kinda bored but watched the whole thing. Parts were good. Then saw this video in the sidebar and was like, hmm a recent Disneyland Forever vid that I haven't seen? Click. WHOA! THE best Disneyland Forever video I have ever seen. The editing of the different angles. Great job! Fantastic! But then watching this and remembering it I thought to myself, this is what a Disney anniversary firework show is about. The feels are next level. Step into the magic indeed.

The 2019 version has fewer and smaller fireworks than the 2015 version. I wish I can capture the original one.

I was at Disneyland and it was so fun and the nightime spectacular was so beautiful and this made me cry because this gave me so much memories of Disneyland if Walt Disney was watching this he would be so proud
Wow! No one really recognizes the amount of detail Disney puts into this show. The amazing detail in every location anyone can view it from rivers of America, small world, Main Street, Tomorrowland and galaxy’s edge. It reminded me of all the random spots i view Disneyland forever and you captured every moment and detail in this extremely well put together video. Lol if you must have shot this show like 15 different nights 😂.

We spent 3 days as a family in Disneyland in 2016. It was the first time I'd been back in over 12 years. We missed this fireworks show due to high winds on the nights we spent in Disneyland. We did get to see World of Color, but it wasn't the same. I came home to see what the fireworks show would have been like on UA-cam and just bawled like a baby. I wish I would have been there. This video makes it feel like I was there. I hope they bring this show back, but even if they never do, we have this video now to soak it in. This is nothing short of remarkable. Thank you so much! That's why Disneyland is special! People are able to REUNITE and celebrate. It truly does feel like a reunion with all the familiar faces. I love WDW too but it never has that intimate and personal feeling that Disneyland provides. Probably because it is mostly a Disney park "for everyone else". However, at DLR, it truly does feel like I'm coming home every time I step into the park.

What a beautiful, magical firework spectacular! My favorite memory of this show was actually an evening where I was spending quality with a dear friend who was cast in Mickey and the Magical Map around the time this was filmed. After flying with Dumbo, we were halted in our path towards the Hub by cast members keeping us safe. I'm sure those cast members would receive consistent frustration from guests during that time, so we all danced to the music of the show and shared the best evening together! I cannot wait until the day I can visit the resort again and send love to the hard working cast members once more!
Cast members really make this park so special. I have seen several times when cast members, park security are dancing with the guests during the firework show. The link below is the video I recorded on 2018-2019 New Year's Eve at Disneyland and I can say this is the most memorable moment of my life. Sorry for not translating it into English it basically explains what's going on at that moment. All the people with the light stick are cast members and they are dancing and celebrating with the guests. Even I watched this video today, I still feel emotional.

And I couldn't figure our or put my finger on why it feels so much more magical at Disneyland. And sometimes later I had a conversation with someone who hit the nail on the head. The difference is the magic continues in Disneyland because of its size and intimacy, whereas Disney World is more spread out in which you lose that Disney magical feeling. And I think too that Disneyland has been a part of our culture for over 60 years, and it's our park in a sense; where Disney World is more or a tourist park. Now, I like both parks. Please don't misunderstand me, and each park around the world has its own charms and magic, but everyone I know who has come to Disneyland feels the spirit of Walt's magic as well as the Disney pride from each cast member's love of Disneyland can be felt.
Exactly! The magic at Disneyland is its smaller scale. WDW is impressive and grand but Disneyland is intimate and charming - which I believe was Walt’s intent all along. People tend to dock Disneyland’s small castle but not being able to see it from everywhere in the park is exactly why Disneyland feels more immersive.

This is by far the best video I've ever seen of this firework show. The angles from all over the park, the picture quality, how it captures the essence of the park, it's magical, it's moving, it brought me to tears, it even catches everyone leaving the park in different locations, some on the train, some on the monorail, some on the tram, even in the esplanade - to make that magical takes some effort.
