Paul recently came to Australia and remapped a stack of Renaults including my 2018 280 cup manual. We managed 203kw atw so roughly 310bhp at the crank with no additional mods. Pretty impressive for a 1.8t
Yeah i remember paul saying he was heading to Australia to do some tunes etc a while back! They aren't a bad engine really, fairly robust, i think they're clutch limited really (as with all Renaults) but these cars with a tune are definitely more peppy
@@johnboy2436 i mean they've been pushed as far as possible and had no major engine failure, even with a hybrid... However 400+ is still a very gray area and who knows what will happen when the clutches get upgrades and as people inevitably push past its limits

Hi, I’ve recently purchased the Megane Dynamic TomTom VVT (2015) and I’m wondering if I have the option to modify the car in similar ways as the RS trophy. I’m new to all of this and am wondering if this is possible with my model?
@@dylhutch you can always make your car look more sporty dude but personally I wouldn't recommend pumping a lot of money into a car that'll never be an RS. Just enjoy what you have for a while and save up because it'll probably end up costing you as much to make it look like one as if you were to buy an actual RS.
@@dylhutch just enjoy your car for now dude, make it your own but save up and put the big time and effort into what you really want whether that be an RS or something completely different. Hope this helps dude 👊

If you had the opertunity to upgrade a 2019 GTI Performance MK7.5 with a brand new Megane RS Trophy would you recommend or the proper upgrade should be RS3 or M240i ?
It all depends what you're after mate... Those bmws are WEAPONS in a straight line, and tune so easily but are very soft. The RS3 ONLY goes well in a straight line, handfuls of understeer, and the mk7.5 gti's tune up well but need a fair bit of money at them to get them to a megane level imo. @@VersionOneUK I plan to sell my GTi this month at stock level, I havent made any modifications, therefore it's resell value is higher vs. others.
