I install my first few modifications on the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter. We install a LED Deck and Kiddie bar from Carbonrevo. There were a few hiccups, but excellent customer service got us up and running again, a highly recommended vendor!

Usually what we do is run the led wire to a battery that is placed in a bag that is secured by a kiddy bar on the stem just below the handlebar. U can’t tap the main battery because you need a step down covertor and the voltage is different anyways. I think I have a video of my dualtron with the led setup on my channel from a long time ago.
Hi. The Carbonrevo deck is using those weird SM-2P plugs. What wire adapter did you purchase to use the portable power supply? May I have the link? Thank you

The deck I got was an older one that shipped with the barrel plug. I believe it's a standard barrel plug that you could solder on though. Good luck!

I don't yet, but that's a great idea for a video - I'll definitely try to make something like that.

Thinking about ordering one of these decks from carbonrevo. Thing in worried about is my screws already seem like that have trouble reaching with just the rubber gasket and original deck, so I'm worried adding another deck on top and they will barley fit. I feel like I need longer screws , especially if I want to add the washers too
Valid concern to have! I do believe that the deck comes with longer screws, as well as the washers that carbon revo sells. My thunder is using the washers and deck and I used the bolts that carbon revo sent me without having to buy any extra.

It doesnt looks like it has any griptape on top of the red plastic. How do you feel standing on it?
Nathan Richardson it has two strips, but I might add some more. It actually feels totally fine to stand on now. Your feet are a bit spread out, and mine tend to overlap the two strips of grip tape. I also added washers which cause the screws to stick out a bit, helps to find the boundary of the deck, and also provides grip.

Awesome Alien mods! .. is there an external high def breaking light system? For dark rainy situations..higher vis for cars
Sorcery Circus I think you can definitely add external brake lights and I plan on doing that. Will look into that soon!

Yup, I think they actually offered it when I got this too, but I preferred an external battery to get every last bit of range as I can 😅

Free floating rotors,under platform lighting,Mini GPS,Rear tail light/signal light,couple of extender bars for more toys.

Yeah, handle has really nice LEDs as well. Definitely lit up at night!

I don’t know unfortunately, that might be a custom piece you have to make.

your video came at the right time for me , red is the colour i chose for my Thunder deck. How long did delivery take ?
I found Carbonrevo to be extremely responsive and quick. For me personally they shipped via DHL which only took 2-3 days, but isn't as cheap as other things I've ordered from another continent. I'm sure Carbonrevo will take care of you!

@@rasleeaj3400 Yes, the deck comes with a little remote which you can set custom programs and change colors. It's a pretty typical LED strip remote control from China. I should've talked about the remote more in this video. Maybe I can do another vid around that.

After 2 months been using and drive around 2,000km , the speed and the acceleration of my TD doesn’t work properly.. probly the problem is the battery.. I can drive only 60 miles 3 mode and dual motor... and the acceleration just same of single motor when I use the dual motor... what should I do?
Ahh, sorry to hear about your problems. First I'd verify settings, that max acceleration is 100%, and turbo mode is on. After that I'd try to prop the scooter up so both tires can spin and verify that they are both spinning. If not, perhaps it could be a bad motor controller? Also maybe check with the people that sold you the scooter in the first place? Good luck!
The first problem is you bought a Dualtron,the hype doesn't match with a dualtron.
That looks amazing I want one lol I have ordered the Dualtron Thunder 3 so where can I order a board from or a top plate as you have there oh what was the price ? I have been lucky as I work for the NHS I got £400 discount so I have that money to burn haha Ray K UK YNWA.
I got mine from carbonrevo, they ship out of Singapore and should make accessories for the Dualtron 3 as well. Great scooter, hope you enjoy it!
I’m from Singapore and I used to ride dualtrons before they got banned over here. I mod mine as well to 100v and it can go at crazy speeds. I miss riding dualtrons So I wish you all the happiness riding it and hope your country doesn’t ban it. Interestingly, I go to carbon revo quite often in the past. The owner of carbon revo is my friend as well. So it’s kinda weird to see his products being shipped overseas and be unboxed on a UA-cam video. Kinda surreal.
Very sad to hear about what happened over there. Hope to learn from your awesome scooter culture, continue modding these, and carry on the scooter flag. Hopefully some day your government comes to their senses and relaxes restrictions.
I would love a 100v Dualtron, if you have any knowledge on how I can find a proper battery pack/controller/motors please let me know.
AlienRides it’s alright. We adapted. There are still people riding dualtrons though, but usually at night. Most of us have switched over to lightweight DYU or Fiido scooters. We mod them as well. My dyu is 72V and can hit speeds in the dualtron thunder range and up. I’m also branching out to electric unicycle as well. Something interesting for u to check out, google Dualtron Spider. It’s a newly released customed dualtron for Singapore. It is just below the legal weight of 20kg. Amazing.

Battery bag, external battery, tape, jeeeez. Why didn't you connect your LED deck directly to internal DC to Dc 12V power supply?
Yeah, definitely could've done that for a cleaner look, but I'm trying to maximize range... Even though those lights barely draw anything 😅

Hey Beau! They generally say that it goes on top of the old deck because I"m not sure the acrylic is strong enough on its own to support a persons weight. Did something happen to your deck?
Yep! Let a kid that I know use it and he wrecked n messed up some parts on it. Need to replace brake levers for sure

Every time I watch this I keep wondering why am American deck maker for all scooters come to light I want a custom deck made for my Evercross and when I buy my Emove Cruiser.
