Do you have to put some type of seal between the tire and rim to keep it sealed?

man, getting that tire back on the rim looks like a royal…pain. Seems easier with the split rim.

Hi! Why do you use straps when pressurizing the tire? Because I have a problem with vsett 10+. I apply ptm tire to my scooter and after I pressurize it, then the tire wobbling. The tire don't fit to the rim. This method maybe can help me, because the pressure goes to the sides more than the tire surface?
Tire is wobbling because you most likely damaged the beads on the tires when you installed them on the rim.
@@jessa.3857 anyway to fix? my tires wobble. I'm not sure how come. I thought maybe I had my suspension too compress and bent something after hitting a bump.
@@jeffspicoli2742 You have to get rid of them and install new ones properly. That's what I had to do. Everything is good now.
my escooter has been out of comission cause i cant get the tire thread to sit, have already removed the valve core what the trick jsut clapm the crap out of it?
Adding 4.5 ounces of a sealant like armor dilloz blue or flatout helped me seal my rim and as shown a ratchet strap and air compressor with enough velocity may assist with a seal to the rim
Are the pmt tires vacuum tires? And can they be used with inner tube?

They are vacuum tyres, you can use them with inner tube like I do if you have divisible rim like mine
Does you inflate with 3.4b (50psi) or less?

Next time use baby Powder it will help remove and install tire

You chew the hell out of the rim with those metal tire irons. Butcher job. No wonder you use the rim decals.... they cover up the gouges.
